This has to be the most convoluted yet transparent duck I have ever seen. If Hearn had made the $12.5 mill deal, then Wilder's team asked to meet to discuss the details or asked for a contract and been told by Hearn no they couldn't meet, cancelled 2 possible meetings after Finkel had traveled to the UK and refused to send a contract you'd have everyone rightly saying Hearn and Joshua were ducking.

Yet some people seem to have found a way to justify Wilder's team doing this. Maybe this is just some attempt from both sides to build the fight, which if true I can understand but I'm quickly getting sick of all this bull****.

Hearn cut him off pretty good tho, you could feel he wanted to add “dumb ****” at the end.

Exactly. If Hearn did this the response would be totally different.

People just can't bring it within themselves to admit team Wilder are playing games. I've said this before but people are looking at 50 mil and nothing else. They see that number and have this ridiculous idea that it doesn't matter what else the deal entails just accept no matter what.

Why would someone like AJ do that? A guy who is one of the biggest if not the biggest draw in the sport isnt going to do that.

I think only the juveniles and those with a juvenile mentality would say Joshua and Hearn should agree on the term of 50M, period.

No one with even high school level education and reasoning would with agree to fight contract with just your take stated and nothing else .... absolutely no proof of that 50M and absolutely no specifics on many of the other numerous details that are involved, venue, broadcast rights, rematch specifics, etc

Wilders saying 50M, with NO specifics nor contract being offered, AND the meeting to discuss it was refused....this sound as if a group of teenagers are coming up with this nonsense

Isnt Shelly Finkel on Wilders “team”? Does he think people believe this comedic nonsense they’re posting ?

''I've known Lou Dibella since I was probably 10 years old, but every now and then he'll do an interview where he'll lose his **** (poop) and he just has to be put back in his box.. by ME.''

    Eddie ''The Daddy'' Hearn

Right Lou, you *******! (a child born out of wedlock) I'm the daddy now, next time, I'll ******* (another word for sexual intercourse) kill ya

The conclusion to all this is simple.

Either it happens or it does not.

It won't happen. Too risky a fight for the brand that is Anthony Joshua. Can't blame him either. He is in a fantastic position. As a fan I would love to see the fight but I understand why Joshua won't take it.

Its looking more and more like this was just some sort of PR stunt (a really bad one at that)..

It was funny how so many guys with Wilder's nuts banging off their nose were blinded to anything other than this being a real offer.

I still think both sides may have had a role in it especially since Hearn is very confident in the fight being made...

All part of the build up and it keeps the fight in the spotlight..

Any publicity is good publicity and that saying doesn't apply any more aptly than it does in boxing.

You can't buy publicity like this farce produced.

That’s a really good point. I did find it a bit weird that they were feeding the media emails. From a business stand point I don’t know the depths that both camps will go through, given that if this is all an ploy and both sides are in cahoots, it’s all very pantomime, just without our knowledge. But when you’re talking about the money they’re talking about, what’s a bit of role play between promoters.

Let's throw both sides approach to this fight out of the window......and look at their past approaches to fights.

    Vs Wladimir Klitschko

Team Wilder - "Wilder is not ready for this fight".

Team Joshua - "Joshua is not ready for this fight.....But we're gonna take it, we want all the belts in the division and we have to take the big fights".
