that maybe true. but we dont kno the details.. aj does deserve more money cuz he generates alot of money. i dont think thats an issue. if wilder comes over to england he deserves a healthy check. not more then aj but still alot of money... aj is wilders biggest pay day. can aj make more money fightin any one else?

I don't think Wilder is the closest to him as you say. Parker is on par to Wilder in regards to how much they bring to the table, that's what Radupidu was saying, I believe.

The most lucrative potential fight right now is Fury but he's too busy eating himself into an early grave right now. Wilder is in no stronger a position to fight AJ next than Parker.

Povetkin is probably a more lucrative fight too, he has a big money backer and is a decent draw in Russia.

Fact is Wilder isn't the most deserving of a shot and isn't the most lucrative option and that means he isn't a priority. He's definitely on the list of prospective opponents but obviously isn't the top pick right now. Many of those that do want this fight who are not Wilder fans, honestly probably just want to see Wilder KO'ed so his run as a paper champion is put to an end. Very few think he is the most deserving or a genuine a big threat.

I doubt they are that petty. Hearn is all business. He just doesn't see the fight as a priority right now. The chances of Wilder fighting anyone decent and losing the belt is small and even if he does lose, so what, he'll just fight whoever beats Wilder, who AJ fights for the WBC belt doesn't really matter it's just the belt he needs, Wilder's name as next to 0 real value without the belt.

But I do think Hearn is putting Wilder on the back burner for a reason. He wants to unify all the belts against an American that could open up the US PPV market which is currently closed to Joshua. But that means getting Parker's belt first, so Wilder will have to wait.

fair enough... but povetkin why do guys support him after failing drug tests? he failed one vs wilder then vs stiverne screw that guy ... do u want him to potentially ruin another fite by failing a test...

but yes if parker vs joshua get made that truly is a legit fight...

Where did I say I support him? I just said he's a more lucrative fight which is true. Boxing is a business, money talks and I could see why people would want to fight Povetkin, he brings money to the table. Parker and Joshua have all been linked to Povetkin recently and that's why. If Povetkin was fighting on terrestial TV making peanuts nobody would want him either like Wilder.

Easiest way for Joshua to avoid Wilder is offer an amount they know Wilder won't accept. Just like they did with Parker.

Well considering Wilder wants 50% that's going to be pretty easy to do, because 50% will be something like $20 mill.

"Hearn' we'll give you $19 million to fight AJ"

"Wilder no, stop low balling me!"

    Lmao

Hearn wants Wilder to fight Whyte not Joshua. Hearn was even upping the price for a Whyte fight after he said he couldn't offer any more.

    All this talk of money!!

I know boxing has changed dramatically, but constant arguing who deserves more, who brings more to the table etc etc.

Just fcuking fight, isn't that what these Two are supposed to be "Fighters" ?

Simply agree to the fight on equal terms, then fight and sort the numbers out after.

Joshua is the A-side, do B-sides make offers to A-sides?
Hearn made the offer to bring Wilder to England to fight Whyte.
Wilder literally said he would fight Whyte in England as long
as Hearn put in the contract that Joshua was next should he win.
Hearn is the one who backtracked after that.

I'm not a Wilder fan and I'm super critical of him, but I'll hold
everyone to the fire the same when they're spouting bull****.
Hearn is the one showing reluctance (as of late)

When it comes down to negotiations I guess I'm a traditionalist in believing it should be 50/50 regardless of current popularity levels when its 2 title holders facing off. I don't think Wilder deserves a £20 million payday to be fair(from his **** weak resume and skill-set), I'd rather it go to a nice guy like Parker.

Wilder needs to fight some live bodys. You don't fight all bums, brag about how you knock them out, and then demand a title unification. He literally needs to beat a real top level heavyweight before calling Joshua out.

I'm actually really liking the way this is shaping up. We know the Brits are behind Joshua one hundred percent, and now I am starting to see more American fans getting behind Wilder. Both guys have KO power and they are both fundamentally flawed in different ways. The question: who can exploit the other's weaknesses? Whether this fight comes next or some time in the near future, an arena will be sold out and millions of eyes will be glued to TV screens worldwide. Make it now while they are both champions, I say, before something or someone upsets the apple cart!

Joshuas resume talks....Wilders ? not so much.

Call outs dont make fights happen, this is like 5th grade stuff here ( ironically many fans believe fights get made that way) where the two kids in school threaten each other and claim how bad they are going to beat up another, the thing is they dont have managers or promoters do they? Boxing matches are made by actual timing and signing contracts.I think wilder still thinks hes in junior high maybe? lol

Exactly. Hearn is a promoter and it's his job to make the fight as big as possible.

His job isn't to make a fight just because Wilder starts acting like a *****.
