Is it really a smart move? Everyone will be focused on the GGG/Canelo fight and all the media will be focused on that. It could get lost in the build up and aftermath of GGG/Canelo, especially if it's another controversial result.
The thinking is that they'd announce it in a central location where all major boxing media are congregated. Of course, given that the fight itself is on HBO, I certainly don't expect they would mention Wilder/Fury.
I thought they said live on tv a few weeks back that it will all be announced next week. Makes me wonder what the actual delay is??
HBO may not mention it but all the assembled press will be all over it and they'll all be getting decent spots on their respective tv/print/online platforms due to the interest in Canelovkin 2. Easy win.
You know he is going to claim that Fury is afraid of him and now he has to fight Derick Chisora or Stivern 3 instead.
Wasn't this fight supposed to have been announced last week, and the week before last? Now Wilder thinks it'll be announced next week? I believe I'll just exhale that minute breath I was holding in right now.
