I remember reading after Corbett lost to Fitszimmon he wanted a rematch so bad he said, if you don't give me a rematch in the ring if I see you on the streets I'll fight you", Fitszimmon said if you even as much touch me that will be your last". That sounds like an old school death threat for real.

What's with the comments about Kovalev being a sadistic POS with no empathy? He was gutted over the Simakov tragedy. How he handled the situation afterwards completely debunks that narrative that his haters(who are funnily enough often Wilder fanboys) like to put out. Been saying forever that Wilder is not a good guy. Add it to the pile of evidence that shows what a POS this guy truly is...... Then again according to some on here Kovalev is a worse human being than Stevenson.

 

I’m not a fan of Wilder as a fighter, but respect the heck out of him as a dad. I’m also glad that he doesn’t have to break laws to provide for his daughter.
