Vitali actually said something similar once, according to Lampley. Lampley quoted him as saying “my left puts them in the hospital, my right puts them in the graveyard”.

I thought that was more stylish than the typical boxing death threat.

Nah it is a Disgrace. A small minority of boxers actually wish they kill someone.
Having a "killer instinct" & wanting to win by KO is very different than desiring causing death.

"I'll Moida da bum" is obviously not meant literally, & it sounds fairly innocuous anyway. Galento was bad for his degree of vicious cheating, being willing to ice Jackie Gleason after cruel provocation, not that silly phrase.
A man telling another who threatens to attack him on the street essentially I will end you is also totally different from hoping you kill someone.
Ruby Red was responding to a malicious threat.
Let us be fair & precise here.

Even Klitchko's comment was not the same, he spoke in poor taste, but it was not literally true, & he was not wishing to take someone's life.

Wilder may think this makes him seem tough or like a True Warrior.
Instead it pegs him as between a Brutal Monster & a hopped up child.

Gerald McClellen used to say the same type of thing. We saw how it ended up for him.

Maybe. I've seen video footage of night club drama.
I've watched interviews of his and he always came across as shy.
He is clinically bipolar. So he's dealt with long bouts of depression, agoraphobia, manic highs even to the point of delusion.

Robin Givins stole his heart and put him on an extended manic high.
Such a long high can result in bottomless lows.
Wilder is saying he wants to join some club as if killing another fighter is a statement.
Mike Perez is is hardly a killer, but he beat Mago within an inch of his life.

Tyson never even ended a career, while CW Jirov ended Mesis

George Foreman said he wanted to kill somebody in the ring to see how it felt. Foreman meant it. Wilder is just a moron trying to hype himself up. The man has 40 fights and his best win is over a 831 year old overweight Ortiz. Yet Wilder thinks he is one of the all time greats. Are we really taking what he says as being serious?

I’ve never commented on that nor do I care to be quite honest with you. I’m not sure why we are mentioning Kov here? Kovalev being a racist or not has nothing to do with his sportsmanship.

Yeah I read the 1998 psychological profile on him when he was trying to get a license after biting Evander.

Robin had said to Barbara Walters that Mike is manic depressive (bipolar), and Tyson and his team said it’s not true. But the report in 1998 said he used to take lithium for bipolar and then he stopped because he didn’t like the side effects.

The 1998 evaluation didn’t diagnose him as bipolar, he got diagnosed with depression and borderline traits (but not enough to quality as having borderline personality disorder).

Yes that’s more of a saying than anything,Wilder actually wishing a fellow opponent dead, someone with a family who’s getting paid peanuts to pad out his record is disgusting.

Wilder is just trying to be controversial but I think that is the wrong way to go about it. He is the same man who said that he says a prayer for his opponent and he is really concerned when an opponent of his is knocked out. As a matter of fact, I have always seen him show compassion for his opponents. I don't like nor appreciate comments like that from any fighter and Wilder is no exception.
