It would look like Tyson vs Savarese. Wilder is incredibly primitive and unskilled compared to guys like Lewis Douglas and Tucker. So he can hit hard....great damn near everyone in the HW division is dangerous puncher. Thats the nature of the division and Tyson was still NEVER chinned early or even dropped by one big shot, despite an agressive style.
Thats not even something you can say of Frazier, Marciano or Dempsey

The press for this would have been excellent and someone would lose an eye, ear or child in the process
Wilder has that long reach like Lewis and he beat Tyson down from the outside and even on the inside
Wilder is a champ so what do you expect him to say???:duh

Douglas may not have been a power puncher, but he was a 230-235ish pound super heavy who hit pretty solid for a top tier heavy that size. Plus, he showed better boxing ability and the ability to throw accurate combo's and better technique than I think Wilder ever showed.

Yeah...basketball would be the only thing he'd "destroy" a prime Tyson at. Certainly not boxing.

Stylistic foil?? If having a hard punch and swinging for the fences whilst leaving yourself open for clean counters was the surefire recipe to beat Tyson, I'm sure Bruno, Bonecrusher Smith or Razor Ruddock would've loved to hear it. In fact, Lennox Lewis didn't even do that against a shopworn 2002 Mike Tyson. He exercised extreme caution. No one beats a prime Tyson that way, especially if you have a questionable chin.

    He wouldn't take Wilder's right hand, that's a certainty.

LOL......it would be unheard of (and quite hilarious) for a 51 year old ex champ who hasn't fought in almost 13 years to come out of retirement and beat an undefeated champion in his prime.

Yeah, when I watch Wilder fight, it's as if I'm looking at Lennox Lewis all over again......

Wilder is more like a modern day Max Baer (who arguably had a better chin).
