Lucas Browne is very limited, he's very crude, slow and wide open. He seems to have power but once again Wilder is looking at the WBC rankings and picking one of the weaker ranked fighters. What is Browne's best win a shot Toney or Rudenko who lost to a novice in Hughie Fury in his next fight. You only have to watch Browne fight to realise calling him ordinary would be a compliment because in reality he is awful. But it's still better than Molina though not by much.
He calls himself a work in progress and will fight Povetkin. There is no duck here. The purse bids don't happen until after Sept.
Browne's an interesting case. He's slowed down a lot since the Toney fight, he's almost 37 now, and has put weight on. Still it's a good fight, he's a tough guy with stamina and heart.
Rudenko in my opinion, and in a lot of other boxing fans opinions won that fight and was robbed vs Browne. Hughie Fury to his credit did outbox him quite easily. This is one of the things I REALLY don't like about boxing, fighting random journeyman in title defenses. There are about a half dozen guys way more deserving than Browne, and this is without mentioning his mandatory in Povetkin who Wilder is doing everything to avoid
first world champion iv ever seen to call himself a work in progress and refuses to take on top contenders
Big Daddy Browne would put Wilder to bed with no supper. It would be lights out before 10, with no chance of staying up late.
Where is he rated a top ten heavyweight? By reputable sources not the disgusting sanctioning bodies. Ring magazine? The Trans national boxing ratings? Espn? ***********? No No No No
