As far as I know he never set foot in Russia, but returned to the US from his UK trainingcamp.

What really bugs me is Wilders holier than thou attitude,he's so quick to pile it on which is why Rabinsky is suing him,I mean sure Povetkin did fail a test but at the same time it's not like Wilders never used anything cause at this level I think it's very clear nowadays that they're all at it inc Tyson Fury who doesn't look athletic at all from the looks of his body,I bet Wilder was one of those annoying kids at school who would grass on fellow pupils all the time,s*** bag in other words.

If Povetkin is confident then I think he should go to the states anyway, let's have a fair fight with fair judges,as good a boxer Povetkin and as poor a boxer Wilder is I still fancied Wilder to win because of his massive size advantage.

The WBC will decide what's relevant. No need for you to get defensive and declare what Wilder "better" do. You just give opinions on a boxing forum...same as me. So, you "better" stay tuned.

We disagree. And that's OK. I happen to agree with Wilder. And if the WBC believes in supporting a fair contest, they won't allow this bout to happen where the controversy started. That would hurt their credibility and they could possibly lose a highly marketable fighter (who would be justified in vacating) in a favor of someone, who by most accounts is a cheater.

They obviously have a tough decision to make. Wilder doesn't really lose either way. He has potential match ups with bigger names on the horizon.

But, at the end of the day, wherever they fight (if they do) Povetkin is getting KOd. Just my "irrelevant" opinion. [emoji6]

I don't think you can get a fair fight either way. In the US the Murrican gets favored, and in Russia the Russki.
They paid to get the fight in Russia and have bought the right for home advantage and also to earn their investment back.

Well we all know money talks so if it needs to be in Russia then lets make it happen. The great thing about boxing is even if you get shafted by the judges the fans are the true measuring stick of your performance. We have all seen the scenario were the technical loser ends up being the big winner prospectively speaking.

It's better for Povetkin if the fight takes place in Russia... Dude don't have far to go after his nap.

True, but we still get the Garcia's, Ottke's, Rosi's and Broner's of this world that massively out-earn the guys they robbed who fans forget over time.

Whoever wins the purse bid can organize fight.Russians won it and want it in Russia,if theres new purse bid they will win it again.

Then whats the problem here ? Drop belt and move on.May be he can get new belt to keep hostage vs D level fighters next time.

I can't see how Wilder calls this shot, as said above, the fight was postponed not cancelled, the WBC will have to say the purse bid stands and the fight will have to take place in Russia.

That said the WBC and the rest of them make the rules up as they go in my opinion so really anything could happen but I think the purse bid will stand and Wilder will either have to travel or drop his belt.
