Interesting... So it's a money thing or do some actually think Povetkin would be a better fight?

:huh I dunno. Wlad paddled Povetkin in Russia and won on points. I don't think judges are that corrupt / biased overall. There are very few outright robbieries, let's be honest. Most people kick up a fuss when their favourite fighter loses in a close contest ... but that's what can happen in a close contest.

I doubt that Wilder / Povetkin goes the distance. If Wilder doesn't bomb Sasha outta there early I see his eggshell chin getting cracked sooner or later.

It seems like it would work the same as if one of the fighters had an injury and had to postpone the fight. Ie the fight is still on, just at a later date.

Good response, I think there is a grey area we don't touch on when measuring the amount of success these shafted fighters have post shafting lol

Especially in Garcia's case vs Herrera and Peterson....both fights could have gone either way I just didn't see the overwhelming dominance that results in true controversy plus the overall appeal and potential for both victims doesn't really push for the political powers to co-sign and support giving them a win because they don't see the buying power in future fights with Hererra and Lamont. Sad but true.

Why it's taking so long for WBC to decide , what they are waiting for, we have a champion fighting nobody's for year and half.

Uh yes he did there were traces of the banned substance in his system after it was banned so yes he did but considering what goes on in Russia with its athletes it's the norm

    Uh he's been cleared.

A banned substance, that was used and bought over the counter by ex Soviet states suddenly banned by an American organisation without as much of a nats fart into looking how the substance works or lifetime.

    So he's been cleared.

And if you're a yank regarding sports people and PED'S you haven't a leg to stand on.

The Russians won the purse bid Wilder will go where they say.

It's obviously very confusing for some, but this fight only happens when Povetkin is cleared by both VADA/WADA as the WBC.
Now when the WBC finally comes with their verdict, there's either no fight, so it won't be in the US or anywhere at all, or there is a fight and Povetkin will be cleared.

This would mean the fight gets rescheduled under the original purse bid. So Ryabinski will have the final say where.

So the whole idea of this fight taking place in the US is ridiculous to begin with.
Either it does happen where Povetkin's team want it to happen or it doesn't happen at all. There is no 3rd option

I hope Wilder drops the title if Headvetkin is somehow cleared. He had his chance. He blew it with his big ****en Andre the Giant shoe box brain.
