wilder is unknown in the states. he is a nobody. fury and joshua are equally unkown. not one of the three could be picked out of a lineup by 95% of americans.

Boxing is a fringe sport in the states, is what you are trying to say. Yet, Wilder seems to draw very good ratings when you put him on prime time against...well anyone. If he becomes undisputed, given his fan friendly style, you can believe the interest in Boxing will rise tenfold, in the US. And the WBC I am sure wants to be right there to ride that wave.

You would have to be blinded by hate or high on Melodium to not understand this.

Then why are Wilder's fights half-empty, he can't even sell out the 14k arena in his OWN HOMETOWN! :rofl:rofl

Wilder vs. Arreola had a - for a HW title fight - miserable 10k live gate, 4k seats remained empty although they tried to give them away for $20 in the last week :lol:

10K is a lot of people in ALABAMA, to come and watch a boxing match. Try putting things into perspective.

joshua is a household name in the uk and he is making lots of money over here, he doesn't need to go to the u.s. to make money or gain recognition, those days are over.

wilder didn't say it should be in the u.s, he said it will have to be:

“Most definitely,” he said. “We gave them the opportunity and their chance. They blew it. Now it’s time (for him) to come to America. He’s never fought in America. So it will be his debut here and it will definitely have to be on our terms. That’s for sure.”

he is not giving an opinion about what he thinks should happen, he is stating what will have to happen, and what he said is wrong, so agreeing with what he said makes you wrong too. wilder stating that they gave povetkin the opportunity is also wrong, povetkin earned his mandatory position and earned the right to have the fight in russia by winning the purse bid, wilder didn't give him anything.

why would he be morally justified in dropping the belt? povetkin was found innocent of any wrong doing so the drug charge is no longer relevant, the case has been closed and povetkin is still the mandatory.

the substance was banne din January. Wada found that the minute amount in the "positive" test was due to trace amounts stored from before it was made illegal.

    100% cleared.

Fury has beaten and ATG fighter.

fury "beat" a 39 year old, badly faded wlad, in the worst title fight ever staged. aside from that, his duck list takes two hands to count.

I'll be happy if the fight happens - don't care whether it's in the US or Russia.

Who has not lost a fight in eleven years. Wlad would kill Wilder today.

You can put any qualifiers you like. The bottom line is at 27 years old, Fury has laid the foundations for an ATG career, whereas Wilder is a joke. It is just something that you are going to have to get used to, because fury's win is not going away, and Wilder has made it clear that he is not going to do any better.

Why do you quote beat? Isn't not a disputed win at all. Don't rewrite history here. Wlad wasn't badly faded. Nor was it even close to the worst title fight ever. Maybe you've heard of a guy named John Ruiz?

Wlad is washed up after losing to a guy like Fury, Povetkin needed Meldonium to beat Wilder. Fury won the title in probably thee most boring fashion, but he won it. He doesn't care about the title which ****es me off. Fight Wilder so he can relieve you of your duties fat boy. Sloppy ass. Povetkin had a crack at the title and was thoroughly embarrassed. Bum ass.
