Wilder - Scott: legit or fake KO?

In fairness to Duhaupas he is a lot tougher than Scott chinwise. Even heavy handed Erkan Teper can't hurt him.

 

Anyone who thinks it was a dive clearly doesn't know TOO much about the sport or the game.

Yeah I guess Wlad's left hook that knocked Pulev out and the ones that knocked Austin out didn't land either. They took dives :roll::roll:

 

If it was a punch that did damage there it was the lead left hook.

 

Scott look like he's remembering that somebody told him "stay down" and tries to look to that someone in the crowd at 1:04 . The KD was legit, but maybe Scott didn't really tried to get up after, or maybe his balance center was f#$ed up by the left hook at the temple.

Seen it a thousand times, and from no angles does it look legit. But Boxing has more conspiracy theories than Area 51 and i just cant believe somebody with as much ambition as Scott would take a dive at that stage in his career, even if it was his buddy in the ring with him. And if he was guna take a dive would he make it look so blatant and in the 1st round?

Ive seen many really questionable knock downs and knock outs but i just accept that the biggest chances are the punches did their jobs and the brains were rattled but on the outside it looked lame.

Only time ive really screamed bull sheet to something like that and not had my mind changed was Dirrell when he fought Abraham. Bad acting.

 

It wasnt even a proper hook, Scott block most of the shot and it was more of a half-blocked slap, im pretty sure that would not knock down even a child, so stop with this left hook, where it was soft as hell.
It was obvious a f*** dive.

 

I know why he's there, but it still stinks, just like his dive vs Burger Squad. Most of the top 40 would KO him.
