No it isn't. Wilder has already had 4 so called stay busy fights. He won't face real competition, and certainly won't have an unification fight in the near future. As long as he gets a pass from the WBC to fight these bums, he will continue to do so.

Rudenko and Travis Kauffman are already waiting for the call.

 

I agree it's far from ideal, but realistically who is Wilder going to fight? His big fight.. the one that makes financial sense is vs AJ or Klitchko. They are fighting early 2017 so won't be fighting Wilder until mid-late 2017. If you are in Wilder's camp, who do you put in the ring against Wilder in the short term? A real risky fight that could jeopardise the big fight, or a safe pick that Wilder can look good beating up? Wilder's camp are not going to risk him vs anyone with a pulse until the big payday. As much as hard core boxing fans won't like it, it's common sense.

 

Great news, I' ve been hoping for an early Christmas present this year, Wawrzyk was boxing circles around Povetkin before the meldonium saved the Russian, this is Wilders toughest fight to date expect a back and forth war before someone is carried out on a stretcher

Im being sarcastic, I'm from Poland and I think Wawrzyk is horrible, this shouldn't even be sanctioned as a title fight, it's on par with Garcia-Salka

 

My apologies. I can usually detect sarcasm but prolonged exposure to certain posters on BF24 has dulled my edge Poland has had some good fighters, but Wawrzyk isn't one of them.

I agree with your sentiments I believe many Purists feel the same way too. This is the one all the Molina's and Arreola's was leading up too!! What a barn burner we have on the horizon. Anyone telling you they know the outcome of this one is a liar! Cants stress enough --
