Thompson wants to have one more title shot before retiring. Why not fighting Deontay Wilder? They both free, both americans, make it happen!

He will wait for his shot, the winner of Arreola/Stiverne II will knock him out and then all talk of him will die down, he will be exposed as a glass jawed fraud, just like Mitchell was.

Thompson would avoid all of his wild looping punches and KO him with a counter shot like he did Price.... Price is actually much better than Wilder is, much more sharp and accurate punches. He doesn't flail he's arms around like an idiot, he throws his shots properly. Yeah he may be vulnerable, but at least he punches correctly. Wilder is vulnerable, and has some of the worst technique I have ever seen among a top heavyweight prospect, he's a complete clown.

Wilders handlers won't let him get close to Thompson.

No doubt, especially after what happened to Price... They will play it safe until it's time to cash him out against the winner of Arreola/Stiverne II. they might even wait a little longer to generate more buzz and interest in the fight so Wilder can get a good purse, because once he because blown away in a tile fight he won't be getting another one, ala Michael Grant.

He should, but no way he does because he doesn't want to get Priced just prior to his big payday.
I can't see him beat whoever wins Arreola vs Stiverne II, so elritardo would need a new boxer to obsess over pretty soon.

It would be a good match, although the only thing I worry about is Wilder is quick out of the gate and Thompson is a notoriously slow starter....

Thats cool if T.T. Wants One more title shot, he has to wait a few months till Wilder fights the WBC champion and give T.T. His retirement beat down :boxer

Probably the truth. Wilder is being moved along slowly and carefully, and Thompson doesn't fit the mould.

Thompson would make short work of this clown, what kind of olympics medalist fights bums and tomato cans for 6 years and shout bomb-squad after every win like his done something to be proud of? At least when Tyson came up he was 10 years younger ,didnt have as decorated of an amateur career, fought better opposisiton and he was still respectful of his opponents
