Wilder is most likely going to wait for the winner of Stiverne/Arreola II and risk it all for a title shot. Going for Thompson is too risky at this point and offers nothing when a title shot is available.

It could be an interesting match-up. Thompson is very onorthodox, good at protecting himself and he has got the punch to finish of the Prices and the Wilders of this world.
I hope Wilder sooner or later get the opportunity to prove he is the real thing and not just another pretender - but right now Thompson´s got my vote.
