Wilder is most likely going to wait for the winner of Stiverne/Arreola II and risk it all for a title shot. Going for Thompson is too risky at this point and offers nothing when a title shot is available.

    and why should they????

They can take their title shot, get KTFO, go back t fighting the Gaverns and Firthas and Reeds, then step up to the Abells and Witherpsoons, have a fight with Joe Hanks, and BAMMMM....nother title shot.

Calm down people, Wilder will surely offer TT a fight in the next 5 years ot so. TT will be well shot by then being 46-47yo and then Wilder could knock him out in 1 round shouting bummmm squaaad and celebrating that win over the former 2 times world heavyweight title challenger.

TT is so crafty and ring smart that he can compensate for his lack of speed in a possible fight with Wilder. Team Wilder know that very well and for that reason they will prevent Wilder getting KTFO. Simple as that.

The list of people he should fight is about the same length as the list of people he won't fight...

Unlike IBF #1 Pulev, Wilder is not interested in fighting fat middleweight

It could be an interesting match-up. Thompson is very onorthodox, good at protecting himself and he has got the punch to finish of the Prices and the Wilders of this world.
I hope Wilder sooner or later get the opportunity to prove he is the real thing and not just another pretender - but right now Thompson“s got my vote.

Wilder is the mandatory challenger for the WBC title. For what reason would he fight Thompson?

He isn't. The winner of Stiverne/Arreola is. He has to beat the winner of Stiverne/Arreola to become mando.

Meanwhile he'll be a sitting duck for the next five months.

And then one wonder why he has duck legs.

Unlike you I actually like wilder, I think he's exciting and his management need to let him off the leash a bit more.

You just troll with stupid posts about him being the greatest ever because in reality you don't actually like him and are baiting people to hate on him, that's the only explanation for all your posts.

So why do you hate wilder elitirado?

Stiverne and Arreola are fighting for the vacant WBC HW title. Wilder is the mandatory challenger to the winner.
