Ortiz is not a worthy opponent now is old needs blood pressure pills to fight

When was Ortiz last good performance Jennings? that was 2 and half years ago nearly 3 years

Ortiz has slowed down dramatically and is ready for the taking

I did wonder if these posts would begin.

I assumed that due to most detractors saying Wilder ducked Ortiz that it wouldn't actually be the case, but it seems I was wrong.

Wilder is rightly a favourite here and Ortiz is rightly considered a top 5 HW.

Anyone beating a top 5 opponent deserves credit.

Ortiz could beat Parker or Joshua. Ortiz is a craft southpaw

It’s a shame cos if Joshua fought Ortiz I know the die hard AJ fans would be praising AJ for taking a risky fight, a fighter nobody wanted to get in with

I am far from a Wilder fan but I wouldn’t say I’m a Wilder hater, he gets full credit for fighting Ortiz from me

As a Anthony Joshua fan, I would class Ortiz as Joshuas 2nd best win to date. Therefore, Wilder should get some credit at least. Hes taking a dramatic step up from B Level to somewhat the A Level of the division, good luck too him.

Probably. I'll just watch it for fun. I don't really care what it will do to wilder's career:)

Everyone knows that Ortiz is too old, past his prime, not the same as three years ago...

    WTF?!

Ortiz will be in the ****ing best shape of his life and will put up a BEAST performance on Saturday. I guarantee you that.

Everyone will be surprised what a world class southpaw with mass of experience and unreal power will do to Wilder.

He's better now because Wilder is the fight of his life and he's worked himself into a career best condition. Wlad wanted no part of Ortiz when he was WBA #1

He deserves some credit. Ortiz is one of the top HW's. His age does take a bit of the shine off though just like Wlad's age took a bit of shine off Fury and Joshua's wins over him. Still a good, solid win.
