it’s not a bad offer he could stand to make 120mil+ off 3 fights. I know he wants 50-50 but I think this is a good offer, I just want the fight since Fury ducked the fight.

What do you think? I wanna hear from people who can put their bias aside.

Yes, in fact it's pretty much a no-brainer if he can do so contractually (does Showtime still have a say?).

In terms of a leverage difference, this is like Canelo vs GGG 1 .... GGG got less than 40% in the end despite having the three belts. Now Wilder and Fury, motivated by a mutual dislike of Hearn, were using each other to try for 50% vs Joshua but now that that's fallen through Wilder should look at taking what's on offer. There's probably room for a few sweeteners, so I'm not saying he should just sign immediately, but he should be looking to make a deal here.

He should. $15m is a lot to fight Breazeale. Especially, as he'll be lucky to make a 3rd of that fighting on Showtime.

40% in the first fight against Joshua is generous, and after he loses, 30% won't present a huge drop really.

The odds are that a belt or two could end up being dropped to allow the rematch to take place, so even after losing to AJ twice, if he wants to carry on, Wilder could pick up a belt again.

It's a hell of a lot more than what he will have earned in the past, a fair offer based on who has the belts and earning power.

Only reason he wouldn't is that he signed a contract in blood to sell his soul to the PBC, or he's just a f-in' moron not taking that super sweet deal.
But it's probably the same reason Broner didn't take their huge offer, they would probably have to give up their firstborn when jumping ship

Of course he should, if he wants to be undisputed champion. Hearn has said he's prepared to come to the US to do it as well.

You should've wanted the fight with the first offer he agreed to.

This is what happens when you don't put pressure on the fighter and you align yourselves with a group of people who understand zero about boxing and blame the other side when it's your fighter all along and NOW decide it's time to take a deal .

Wilder was making 2 million as his highest purse in 2018. Team Joshua tried getting the fight done and most of Wilder s fans wanted him to walk.

if I was Hearn I wouldn't offer him anything until I see if he gets by Breazeale , even then he must know by now Wilder doesn't want the fight. The way to get Wilder is let him fight a few 2 million dollar fights and pressure will get him , he'll either retire or make the fight ,assuming he still has the belt !

Does Wilder have a management team (independent from his promotion team) that looks after his financial best interests and offer sound advise? This is where AJ and more recently Fury seem to do so well to keep their respective promoters honest (to them).

You want to put your bias aside first if you think Fury ducked.

Wilder has stated he is a free agent remember. Can fight anyone on any broadcast.

Wilders meeting of the minds takes place in a secret tunnel under the Tuscaloosa Garage training center.

The tunnel leads to a basement 60 feet in a old dingy room filled with Wilders peanuts and cans of tomato soup with a rectangular table and 8 chairs. All the chairs are reserved exclusively for team Wilder Dibella, Deas , Breland , Haymon, Marcellos ( water boy ) , Finkel, Wilder himself and the extra chair is for some guy with a top got with his back turned who seems to be making all the decisions but no one's ever seen him his initials are eerily PBC.

This is where the sound advice takes place amid shuttering lights and Cobb Webb's only the elite ever witness and some haven't made it out , rumor has it everyone wears sunglasses because unexplained flickers of static electricity emerges out of nowhere when they all sit together as Haymon has his drag queens belly dance around the table to exotic Indian music .

To be fair to Broner most of the top welterweights are signed with Al Haymon and Showtime boxing. Thurman, Pac-Man, Danny Garcia, Errol Spence and Shawn Porter. If Broner had signed with Hearn it would have made a lot of these potential fights impossible to make.

If you were Broner do you stay with Al Haymon where you have realistic opportunities to fight Thurman, Danny Garcia or Pacquiao or do you sign with Eddie Hearn who's welterweight stable features Jessie Vargas?

In all honesty its a cracking deal. If there is no tie in to DAZN after the third fight then there really is no reason for him not to take it and in my opinion he takes it now or does not take it at all. He is 33 and if he beats Joshua both times its an incredible deal. In terms of commerciality he would be doing well to get $5-8m for Breazeale so he is being paid more than double to entice him into the AJ fight.

If he gets $15m for Breazeale, $20-25m for Joshua and the $20-30m for the rematch depending on who wins. He would never make that kind of money elsewhere and he would have been badly advised.

Bearing in mind what Joshua would expect to get paid for these fights and what Wilder vs Fury just did numbers wise. For Showtime to bankroll those kinds of figures for Wilder alone let alone Joshua. They would have to be confident the first fight does over a million buys and the Breazeale fight does atleast 300k. Which is just not plausible.... unless Wilder comes out and atleast entertains a discussion then where does he go from here without the Joshua or Fury fight.

That is completely true but in Broners state the only one of those he beats in Vargas so he was still bonkers for not taking the better money to fight 3 winnable fights then go back to PBC or PPV with a superfight.

It's not like Broner wouldn't of being getting paid good money if he fought three more fights for PBC/Showtime either. Even though he lost to Pacquiao there's a good chance AB could take on Thurman for his next tuneup fight or even Danny Garcia next.
