wilder had a great game plan and fought a smart fight against stiverne but lets not get ahead of ourselves, wilder is not ready for wlad. imo wilder needs to fight at least 6 fights against better opposition, put on some weight while maintaining his conditioning and improving his skill set before he is ready for wlad. he could be ready for fury by this time next year. if he can beat fury, which i think he could, he might be able to give wlad a competitive fight by 2017 but thats a long ways away, wilder has a lot of tests ahead of him and wlad could be retired by then.

For me Wilder proved the thing I was most concerned about. He proved he can take a punch. Stiverne caught him two or 3 big shots & he stood up.
As for his so called SUPER power?? The opposition he was facing prior to Stiverne were not in there even to try & win . He won the fight He is a legitimate alpha champion but he still has a lot to learn. For some reason Stiverne looked flat, uninspired he just could not seem top put it together.
With more experience Wilder could turn out to be Americas hope.
Its ironically getting like Bowe & Lewis the way this is shaping up. I sincerely neither does A Bowe & renages on the other

    Eh...

I've never seen anyone get last the legendary klitschko defense of wlad mk.2

His jab is the best in boxing history

If anyone gets past it he hugs them to death

He has one shot ko power

    How does anyone win?

The way wlad fights he'd probably dominate anyone not named Ali in their primes

Ali's insane reflexes and speed would be the only natural counter to the perfect defense

yeah thats why i say wilder needs to put on some weight, get to 230 fighting shape at least, maybe coming in 20lbs lighter than wlad can work to his advantage. wlad is a big boy hits hard but he does not have an iron chin, it can be cracked but wilder has to build some experience against tough competition before i even give him a chance him.

He's too raw new, I also think that fight can be built into something much larger than it us now. I'd like to see Wilder fight Fury and Povetkin, thenvwell see where we are at.
