Wilder really is a disgusting human being, he also said he wanted to cripple Breazeale and look in to Breazeales sons eyes after he did it or some vile rubbish like that, he also said he wanted a body on his record. I remember another disgusting American fighter who said similar, Gerald McClellan and look what happened to him. I'm not wishing that on Wilder but sometimes karma is brutal.
Wilder is an absolute moron. The sooner some one brutally bashes him up the better then maybes he'll stop talking like an absolute divvy about wanting to kill people or cripple them etc. Yeah, of course you could kill someone, you a world level boxer. Hell Malignaggi could kill someone if he caught them with the right punch, it's nowt to want to achieve.
Wilder is right. His ability level could certainly end up with him dying in the ring if he ever gets round to facing a live body.
He has been blessed with agreat nickname that he has been busy dishonoring. Acting as hyper & angry as possible & openly craving killing & crippling blokes is not really being tough or seeming secure or decent.
1. The guy seems obsessed with killing someone. Remember when he said he wanted a "body" on his record. 2. Since this is the case, if there is a death, he should be arrested and charged with manslaughter, as it is obvious he is trying to kill someone. 3. This is probably why he fights cripples...easier to kill. 4. Any heavyweight boxer is capable of killing someone, but given that he struggles to knock out even bums like Molina, chinny fringe types like Szpilka, and telemundo sombrero mascots, his power is really not all that. 5. I don't wish for anyone to die in the ring ever, or even be seriously hurt, but there seems to be a force in this universe that enjoys poetic justice, and he ought to shut his mouth for his own sake. 6. This could be partially inspired by his insecurity and the fact that he realizes that he might very well lose his title in a week.
Usyk vs Donkey predictions from the Mayweather gym The guy sitting next to Caleb Plant in one breath says that Wilder is too big for Usyk and in the next says that Plant would beat Donkey because skills pay the bills. Obviously I know he wasn't being serious but I'm sure like many in that gym he's a firm adherent of the skills pay the bills mantra. This content is protected
Anyone whose had 40 fights against low level opposition will have a few headline KOs that they can put on a showreel. That said Wilder obviously has above average power in his looping overhand right, is it otherworldly or potentially lethal though? We’ve got to compare him within the context of heavyweight boxing and against his past & present peers. When doing this the short answer is NO! Even when reviewing all his 39 KOs, his bold and stupid statement doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. Nearly all of his opponents have taken multiple shots, including his right hand, and not gone down from it first time. A number of his opponents have been hit flush and stayed on their feet while many have been knocked down and got straight back up. Let me now remind you again of the low quality of those opponents. Wilder has above average power, he’s going to hurt anyone if he lands flush and very few fighters could absorb numerous shots from him and stay upright, however. He doesn’t possess the the biggest KO power I’ve ever seen in a Heavyweight, Mike Weaver, George Foreman, Earnie Shavers & Lennox Lewis to name just 4 were bigger punchers than Wilder, I’d even say David Tua and especially Tommy Morrison’s left hook were more lethal one punch KO weapons than Wilders right hand. Away from all that, in the sport of boxing there are a few sacrosanct unwritten rules that even the most brutal of boxers and fiercest of rivals showed respect for. One of those is talking about killing someone in the ring and certainly not aspiring to do so as if it were something you’re be proud of. Mike Tyson even avoided this and when he did cross the lines of acceptability it was done in the heat of battle or just after one, when the euphoria of a win and the adrenaline of a KO was still cursing through his body. Wilder has said he wants a body on his record, talked of killing Szpilka and now this latest bravado about having the power to kill an opponent, all done from the calmness of his armchair. That’s out of order, classless and breaks that unwritten rule!
