Terrible press conference.

 

I honestly thought it was hilarious, but in a pitiful kind of way.

DiBella the pathological name-dropper incessantly introducing everybody as "his good friend". Sulaiman lying through his teeth by saying this was a worthy title fight and taking the time to direct everybody's attention to his shameful excuse of a moustache. King basically foreshadowing that Wilder/Stiverne III will happen and then having the nerve to compare it to the Ali/Frazier trilogy. Porter taking a minute to compare suits with Granados as some sort of fashion inspired dick measuring contest and finally; Stiverne displaying he is a worse public speaker than Helen Keller.

It was a catalog of comedy.

 

We were going to give you Wilder/Ortiz, but instead we're going to give you this fight. It's better than nothing, sort of.

 

I don't want to watch such a farce! Wilder has been saved by VADA and the WBC once again! Wilder was afraid of Ortiz and so was Haymon and WBC! He was clearly framed! He was a threat to Wilder! Next fight for Wilder will be the winner of Breazeale/Molina, then after that mismatch the WBC will make Sconiers or Nichols mandatory...........

 

What time is the weigh-in? Looking forward to seeing Stivmeister's ripped physique.

 

Btw for those who didn't watch the end. There was a fun moment when Wilder gave Stiverne a gift bag. Stiverne didn't look what was in there and some of his guys just took the bag and threw it away. Then Wilder went to the microphone and said that it had Pedialyte for dehydration. Can't write this stuff up.

My god this is hard to watch. Deontay is a lunatic. Where's the down to earth nice guy from 3-4 years ago?

 

He tries far too hard to come across as a badass. Overcompensation I guess.
