Wilder timed him with his jab and landed perfectly at about 1:41. After that Wilder went wild because he knew Washington was badly hurt, and he was right.

 

The fight was stopped because Wilder is a step above bum. They don't want to see him holding one of those signs by the interstate "will work for food." More truthfully.....they don't want to be holding up a sign.

 

No fan of Wilder but felt it was a great stoppage from the ref, nothing coming back from Washington and some of those shots were landing heavy.

Showed how poor Wilder's technique was once again, I suspect he will face another 'tune up' someone like Brezeale next before cashing out and getting KTFO against a live body.

 

Washington walks off , then his legs go and he falls into the ropes. That must be the longest delayed reaction ever.

 

Wilder isn't pretty to watch but his power turns fights on a sixpence.interesting times ahead.

 

That means he would've been up long enough to receive a bomb that could've ruined his career.
