Wilder went in with no game plan. He didn't set up any of his shots and only pawed with a range finder jab. He just wanted to blast Molina out in front of his home crowd. That is why he struggled in comparison to Arreola.

Hopefully Wilder will employ some of the skills he used in the Stiverne fight or his reign will be short.

He didn't look too impressive last night, but I'm sure the pressure of wanting to give the hometown afans a big KO played a bit into that. I think if he had erred to side of caution like he did in the Stiverne fight, then he would have probably looked a lot more dominant, but it wouuldn't have been too entertaining of a fight.

We have set such a low standard for a WORLD Heavyweight Champion. The mediocrity is stunning.

What if they were big hairy women on steroids :huh:think
Wilder was too protected for too long and just in his last few fights starting with decent guys.

I missed the fight but the RBR was sad:|:D

I like Wilder but CMon SON:deal

stiverne was decent but true boxing fans knew it was not a TRUE test it was a 50-50 fight i even called it as such i even favored wilder to win

Stiverne nearly lost to ray austin:lol: he also has had a loss:lol:

apart from that decent fight he has fought bums outside of top 100

so yes if i fought 33 women i would also go 33-33kos

I don't think he struggled at all. He won the majority of the rounds and eventually got the KO. He should've got him out of there sooner if he mixed up his attack a bit more. Otherwise, he dominated the fight. He can't fight Povetkin or any other top HW like that. But, he already showed against Stiverne, he can box and stick to a game plan. Obviously, he wanted to give the hometown fans a KO. So, he was a bit careless in there.

Wilder got wobbled a bit by a left hook. But, Arreola was hurt by Molina too. He came to fight.

Against the finest collection of inebriated bar patrons and broken down cab drivers his management could find.
