Foreman will tell him not to take a step back which is what he was doing and being caught with his feet together. Go forward jabbing to the chest is what Foreman always advocates.
You're wrong in Foremans case. George has eloquence, intelligence and patience and the aura to have any1 remotely interested in learning off him listen. Anyway who are all these streams of great boxers who didnt make great trainers Youre basing your opinion on?? Most pro boxers of a national title level who wanted to train went on to do well...but v few "great boxers" go on to train. Foreman mk 2 was a very technical fighter....i think wilder if he listens can learn a hell of a lot about strength, defence and power and setting up foes better...
Just because Breland can't developed Wilder anymore, doesn't mean that Wilder can't developed under someone else. Personally I believe George will teach Wilder the importance of the jab. George believes in a good jab. If Wilder learns to work off the jab 25% more, he will be twice as good. We shall see.
Foreman could teach him the crossed arms. I don't think it would help against Fury but if he wanted to continue it would be a good defense for him.
Wilders trying to come up with an excuse more than anything at this point. How can he take a rematch seriously. Fight never happens, wilder will lose his nerve. Training injury coming!
Fury vs Wilder 3 will be the mega event that unites all of mankind in a record breaking PPV smash. The first post quarantine major sporting event. Fury destroys Wilder in 2 rounds this time, and in the post fight interview leads the entire world in song as "We Are the Champions" echoes across the planet. Fury is then crowned the Lineal World Gypsy Champ, and is later credited with rallying the human race to unite and defeat the corona virus. The royal family eventually falls and Tyson snatches the throne to become King of England. This is your new life.
If Wilder KOs Fury it will be hailed as a genius move. If Fury gives him a bigger beating it will be seen as a stupid move. Ideally if I was Wilder I would have been on the phone to Adam Booth, maybe just a one fight deal, just for Fury, for several reasons.. Wilder had those infamous sparring sessions with Haye so he knows Adam a little bit, Wilder was in that camp and that camp was for Haye Vs Fury, he isn't a complete stranger, although a long time ago he would have seen what he did with Haye.. the tactics, the training, he did it himself in the gym. Haye was a big puncher and at Heavyweight he was small, Wilder is also a big puncher and will be smaller. So Booth has worked with that type of Heavyweight and has formulated game plans for smaller men, and will know what works and what doesn't, he will have that experience. Booth is a modern day trainer, with respect to Foreman, I don't believe he will be that familiar with 2020 sports science and strength and conditioning. Booth has a gym, Wilder could come over, get some good sparring, he would enjoy the UK again, he loved it here before, fresh up his mind, get away from it all. Many reasons to ask Booth in my opinion, I think it could be a perfect match.
I just can't see what George could teach him. I enjoyed his time as a commentator because he was hilarious not knowledgeable. https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/n...ds-to-george-foremans-training-offer-20200307
