“I might give up my belt. To be honest, that is my first reaction that I would feel,” Wilder vehemently stated. “If they would still give him a chance, now they’re saying it’s cool to do this. It’s cool to put drugs in your body that’s illegal. Why have drug testing? That would be my first initial thought.”

He shouldn't get his belt taken away. That'd be injustice.

Another thing that's funny is how absolutely HAPPY Wilders fan boys are after hear the stress relieving news that the fight is cancelled. I mean, if they were soooo certain Wilder was going to beat Povetkin... Wouldn't they be ****ed??! They're acting like its a victory. LMAO! Wonder why...

I think that the WBC and VADA are trying to work out where the 70ng came from. Whether he used a masking agent or whether it was residual. And if it was residual, why the other tests never picked it up.

I'm thinking that if Povetkin never used it after January, then they need to reschedule the fight and if Wilder doesn't defend, strip him.

70 ng is such a small amount that it could have no possible effect beneficial or otherwise. It is way under the 1 mg limit.

Povetkin did fail the drug test, so I agree it wouldn't be right for sasha to get an immediate shot. He would have to pass some tests first before he should even be considered.

I can understand the disappointment, but patience is critical here.

Why are you taking this so personally? Are you Povetkin's publicist?

Povetkin is a real honest person and a truly fighter and I think he was treated with injustice.

We should support true fighters , no fake hype jobs and hyped paper fights.:good

Whether he is honest or not, the fact that VADA found meldonium in his system is no fault of Wilder's. Wilder met his obligations for the fight, Povetkin didn't. Athletes were warned in September that meldonium was banned and would be tested for in January. If Povetkin still had traces of the drug in his system then that's on him.
