In todays crop right now, if Deon was placed at CW how do you think he would do i believe on sheer size and athletic ability he would be our modern day Foster! because truth be told i do not think for a second 200lbs is out of the question for a 6ft7 man who has fought as low as 214lbs this late into his career.

But i am not trying to start a debate if he can, i want to discuss if he could.

He could definitely have cut the weight.

Not sure how well he would have functioned though.

Well how do you think he would do against the top cruisers of today? If we take the Wilder of Fury 1.

Why lose weight? He could be a Bridgerweight and dominate for 5 years, all he would have to do is beat Rivas!!!

It’s not like he’s a fighter that revolves around his boxing ability. If usyk dropped to lhw he’d be affected, but wilder would still just be there waiting to land the right regardless of his weight.

Wilder could just cut 15 pounds of water weight to make 200lbs

Not a big factor, leaner folk in the UFC do it regularly.

It is a minor water cut, i doubt the effects would be so fatal to his career some Cruisers have been known to weigh 220lbs on fight night.
