Don't know if you're old enough to see prime Mike Tyson but regarding punching power, I'd rather fight Wilder than Iron Mike as many of Mike's fights were closer to executions than actual boxing matches
Putting up statues of clowns and toppling statues of war hero’s......the south and Midwest are real mixed up.
That's a pretty good likeness. It really should have an interactive component with recordings from his most sage like quotes.
You talking about some guy named Ernie Shavers that works at your local mall? Cause Ernie Shavers the boxer had 74 wins with 68 coming by way of knockout.
I'm talking about the Earnie Shavers who couldn't stop or even beat Ron Stander, who couldn't stop or even beat Bob Stallings, who couldn't stop or even beat Bernardo Mercado, who couldn't stop or even beat Quick Tillis, who couldn't stop or even beat Brian Yates, who couldn't stop or even beat George Chaplin, who couldn't stop or even beat Walter Santemore, who couldn't stop Rahim Muhammad, who couldn't stop Brian Morgan, who couldn't stop Ali Haakim, who couldn't stop Leroy Boone, who couldn't stop light heavyweight Vicente Rondon ... who couldn't stop or beat any assortment of **** fighters ... that's who I'm talking about. If Shavers was ever the hardest puncher (and he sure failed to stop or even beat a lot of garbage fighters to make that claim), Wilder surpassed him. Wilder only failed to stop the 6'9" World Heavyweight Champion, he didn't fail to stop (or LOSE) to nobodies like Bob Stallings. I don't know who the hell ERNIE Shavers is. If you want to raise money to build a statue for the BOXER "Earnie" Shavers, make sure you spell his name right. Because you haven't managed to even do that yet. Wilder was one of the dominant heavyweight champions of this century. He's made more money fighting for the heavyweight title than nearly every man who ever held a heavyweight title. And he's being honored in his hometown with a statue. National Golden Gloves Champion. United States Amateur Champion. Olympic Medalist. WBC Heavyweight Champion. Five-year heavyweight title reign. 10 Successful WBC Heavyweight Title defenses. Only failed to KO ONE man in his 13-year professional career - the current World Champion. Now, a statue in his hometown. Just say congratulations ... and move on.
