From Twitter Sources. He was ringside for Wlad/AJ too, and ended up fighting Buffet Stiverne next, wonder what will happen this time...
He was supposed to be ringside for Joshua/Takam too Oh look, same source... https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/wilder-to-be-ringside-for-joshua-takam.595728/
But at least recently Wilder has been man enough to actually call out Joshua. When he first won the belt Finkel said he wouldn't chase Wlad and didn't want Povetkin. Then after Joshua/Wlad instead of calling out the winner called out Bellew and he also called out Parker. He said that he wanted to unify with Parker first before Joshua. So hopefully this time around when he has Joshua in front of him he has the balls to call him out instead of looking for others to fight.
Aj/Parker is a significant fight. No reason why he shouldn't be in attendance. He may be offered another commentary job for this fight.
He'd be heavily criticised if he wasn't there. Ward was when he refused to come over to watch Froch to build a potential rematch, that's what Ward never understood and partly why he was never a draw, he couldn't see how that would appear to fans, how it would turn off fans.
Who cares all he ever does is attend big fights. He never actually fights in one. Credit to Parker who has taken far harder fights in his career than the Alabama burger
Any bets on his outfit this time? His batman comic-style villain trench coat? Or that trusty ole' butt-ugly $5k Gucci jacket? Certainly he will look and act like a class A moron.
He’ll be there but you can be 100% sure that he’ll have rehearsed his after fight performance down to the very last detail. He’ll give a monumental speech that would embarrass a WWE wrestler, threatening the winner with Armageddon and damnation, war and pestilence. Most of all he’ll rehearse because he won’t want to get cornered into accepting a fight in such a manner that he can’t back out and duck it in the following months.
