Briggs is awful and nobody wants to see him fight. He can barely walk to the ring without huffing and pufffing much less throw punches. Despite reports it could be Arreola if he wins his fight on July 18th I think it will be Artur Szpilka or Johann Duhaupas who are both feather fisted.

I'd like tony Thompson to get a title. But he won't want to face wlad again when unifying comes around

The 3 highest picked opponents from that poll are Jennings, Thompson, and Briggs.

Well you can forget about any of those.

Wilder already made clear he has no intention in facing Jennings or Thompson when they called him out and offered him to fight a year ago.

He also said he won't fight Briggs because Briggs takes too much steroids, according to him.

    There you go.

Szpilka does indeed have a glass jaw.
He also possessed pi$$poor defense and is wide open for the lead R Hand.

Not exactly a monstrous puncher either. But his resume is decent even if you and I both know the facts.

Szpilka is perfect for this defense.

And will EASILY be Wilder 2nd best W.

    IT will be Szpilka

    Unification takes precedence.

Wlad and Wilder could sign today for June of next yr and the ABCs wouldn't say a thing.

Why not want to face Wlad again? He'll lose it yes, but Tony is old man who looking good paydays.

Thompson winning a title and then retiring before he fcould lose it in the ring would likely get him into the IBHOF.

ESPECIALLY IF David Price were to win one as well and finish his career strong.

Thompson is close as it is. But winning a title at his age and making one defense of it. Even if it's just vs areola

Thompson/Briggs/Tarver/Cunningham should make a quick tournament with the winner having a shot at Wilder's belt. The fight could be named "Hostage rescue operation". Any of them will be far better than Molina or Duhaupass or whatever his name is.

Tony Thompson is awful. He beat the Duane Bobick of the UK (David Price) and he got by a guy too fat and winded (Solis) to continue (even though Solis threw very little).

Carlos Takam is average, and he beat Thompson. Pulev couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag and nearly shut Thompson out. Enough of this Thompson ****.

Wilder should fight a guy who hasn't had a title shot before and isn't some retread. Glazkov or Browne would be fine.

glazkov represents the best preparation for Povetkin but is also a big risk.
a fine line between being prepared and losing the belt.

Glazkov is not a big risk for Wilder. He's atm the best opponent for him. Wilder will stop him rather easily while getting a lot of credit for beating a (rightfully) top 10, undefeated fighter. He's tailor made for him.

What are you talking about. Both Thompson and Takam beat Glazkov and Browne easily. Thompson started great vs Pulev, winning the three first rounds. He gassed after round 4 or 5, he fought Pulev only one month after his bout vs Price.

Actually it will be a fairy tale ending to the Briggs stalking saga as Wlad would finally be allowed to pulverize Briggs without getting slack for our it.

    Lmao
