It's not a miracle Fury got up in the 12th. He got up because he has the heart of a true champion and exceptional powers of recovery. He's been down a few times in his career but he's always got up with strong legs. There's no quit in the man.

One of his wrestling shows was the most watched wrestling show in years. It peaked at four or five million viewers.

I know people watch wrestling but what I dont buy is they will go and buy a boxing PPV for someone who was in the WWE for 5 mins.

Source. No wwe show rates at 4 or 5 mil viewers. Been years since they were hitting that number.

Fury’s well known. He’s been very well known in the UK for ages. But he’s just not that popular.

A big issue with this is because he’s a traveller. Whether you think it’s disgraceful or not a lot of people hate them.

My apologies. 2.5 million viewers. Google it. Remember reading the figures for one of the shows were the best in years.

The top two do it all again this time for the linealship and the ring magazine belt.

    * no doubt a couple of gaudy alphabet baubles will be chucked in there for good measure too.

Fury still schools the rest of the division with relative ease - but this prime version of wilder a bridge too far for those shot legs of Fury’s to my acute boxing eye.

wilder via devastating ancestral ko is my pick, but you can never write off a man like Tyson Fury especially this 2020 vintage who has been through and overcome so much

respect to both men for daring to be great once again

Yeah that is more in line with what they rate these days.

Huge drop off in popularity considering when wwe and WCW were going up against each other on a Monday night they would share 9-10 mil between them while now WWE can't hit 3 mil on its own.

I'm hoping Wilder just needed more time to set his sights on Fury (imo had the first fight gone 15 Fury would have been out of there).

This time he's already been the distance, should be able to measure him sooner. Fury can't take the right for long, and Deontay knows it.

I just see Fury as the heavyweight Slapsie Maxie...true, he wins fights that way (though I personally thought he lost against Wilder). But that style just bores me to death, and I personally don't care much for his personality/persona either.

I will be first to admit, though, if the man was a better fighter I'd overlook his personality completely. I mean hey, Larry Holmes is my favorite fighter fer cryin' out loud lol!

Again, no disrespect to Fury fans, it's just me.

The 12th round finished with Fury on the attack and Wilder blowing out of his arse.

I'll admit I was one of them saying I don't think this fight will happen in February so I'm pleasantly surprised by this announcement. But I will say I won't be surprised if it's postponed, but I really hope it doesn't, I'm buzzing to see it. I'm picking Wilder to win. I see him knocking Fury unconscious in the later rounds.

To be fair Fury has been out in America for a while now so is clearly doing his best to make sure it all goes ahead. And the money he’ll be making I don’t blame him one bit !

The whole thing from a promotional point of view seems a mess. Not sure if it’s because of the co-promotion/broadcast complications or what.

I seem to remember either Fury or Big John saying that they would not be doing any press conferences or promotional stuff until fight week in order to concentrate on camp and I think he said they got it in the contract so this was expected from me.
