They need more hype. This fight will bomb and the promoters only have themselves to blame

I never doubted the Sauna story. I could tell back then that Wlad was lying when he said he couldn’t remember

Perhaps he was the only white heavyweight in the gym.

We know the man tells a lot of porkies but it doesn't mean everything he says is rubbish ffs.

Did you guys see the amount of headlines around the world when he said Conor McGregor is going to train him? It's called excellent promotion. A large % of promotion is complete and utter bull****. That's the name of the game.

First decent Sugar Hill interview I've seen. He seems pretty relaxed anyway. Doesn't look like a guy to get too excited either way or talk trash. The ego appears intact and he looks focused on the job. If Andy Lee and Fury rate him, he must have a bit about him.

How are the ticket sales going? Weird how they said no press tour now done two press conferences. Zero promotion in the UK outside of bt doing little adverts during football coverage.

I hope it ramps up come the turn of the month.

Promotion has been **** poor in relation to the size of the fight and the 2nd press conference was allegedly called at short notice to help sales be that PPV or actual tickets. The fight is massive but casual sport fans don’t even know it’s happening

Problem for BT is that they have so few football matches it's a bit more difficult to get the consistent advertising you get elsewhere. In a normal week Sky have a (rare) Premier League or (weekly) Championship game on Friday, the early Championship game on Saturday, the Saturday evening Premier League kick off, two games on Sunday and the Monday night game. BT get an early Saturday Premier League game and pretty much never seem to get a genuine big match. Then you have the coverage Sky Sports News provides.

BT will advertise the fight heavily during fight week, and they benefit from the Champions League being on that week, but a lack of promotion has been noticeable for such a big fight. I only feel like I know about it because I'm a boxing fan whereas the Joshua Ruiz II hype seemed inescapable for months.

I'm not bothered about the promotion true fans IE us on here will watch it the fighters have probably got a guaranteed figure regardless of sales of ppv, I can't wait for the fight , honestly think that this fight will be totally different from the first, after seeing the press conference it seems that fury is going to make this fight a gruelling one by tying wilder up lean on him and fight on the inside stopping wilder from throwing bombs, as previous posts by me I think this is the best way to beat wilder, should be a classic can't wait

Youre on the wrong forum if you don't care about the promotion, gate and ppv sales of a fight.

    Do you actually like boxing?

Who really gives a f*** if it bombs at ticket sales or ppv sales, all that means NOTHING.

The fight is happening. Can't wait to watch it and may the best man win!

Tony Dosh v The Meal Deal forever known as the Saudi Stinker gets more PPV Mugths because when Eh Day says his shyte don't smell, they all believe him. He had people believing Tony Dosh PPV was the greatest ever and the small fat potato on legs beat him because he was the greatest fatty since Butterbean.

Tony Dosh PPV has a CV full of puddings (Except Old Wlad who was finished at 41 after 18 months out of the ring) and Baby Butterbean should never have been near a World Title Fight except that he had US links and was seen as a very soft defence.

Behind the hype is a pile of tripe - the next live opponent Tony Dosh PPV faces will expose him badly (Wilder, Fury, Usyk, Dubois and Bakole will be avoided) and he will keep fighting puddings such as Pulev to keep milking the PPV Mugths.

Just waiting for the news that he will vacate and hand over his belt to Usyk to prove the point.
