Thats not really an argument Conors getting 3 mil plus share of PPV , Khabib 2 mil plus share of PPV.

When do we ever see the full breakdown of a boxing events fighters pay including the whole card ?

Fighters pay in a whole in UFC is improving higher up the food chain, especially for the guys that can sell a fight.

If UFC is getting 1 million PPV, then fighters in a brutal gruesome sport with no restrictions should be getting a whole lot more, UFC should offer $20-40 million to top fighters to really compete with boxing

But hey let's all ignore that UFC numbers have been down all across the board as we still need to continue this myth that UFC will kill boxing.

Not sure where you are going with this. Floyd Mayweather was the highest earning athlete in sports with no endorsements. You might not like Floyd but let's be real here. The guy did his own thing earning more money than probably any other fighter in combat sports will ever make.

As for ufc yes they will have a great weekend but everything is not all rosy in the garden. The PPV numbers month on month have been average at best and they have been in need for thers star McGregor. They haven't built other stars so when he isn't fighting PPV Buys are not hitting the mark.

    Clearly missing the point.

Bellew v Usyk did 3x as much in 5 mins at cheaper prices so would of also sold more tickets in those 5 mins than Wilder v Fury did in 25 mins

    Should they?
UFC is there to make money. They put it all together. The fighters do very little besides the actual fighting. UFC even has people that help out fighters with social media.
They don't have to overpay anyone to compete. They are kings.
And there have been plenty who have left because they got better deals elsewhere.
    UFC is not some monopoly.

If you think UFC is doing amazing ask yourself why they are bringing lesnar in for a random title fight.

No rousey, McGregor has lost his shine, they are lacking stars right now. Khabib isn't a PPV shifter

not sure i'd call him having a gift of gab. he just says what comes to his mind because he cant process it and then pick and choose.

giftof gab is being able to say the right things rattled off without pausing, good for chatting up chicks. But fury would be a calamity "chatting up chicks" with the rubbish he comes out with.

"foot in mouth" disease is what hes got.

meh! Ive heard for years how the ufc was killing boxing and how boxing was a dying sport. Whats not talked about is how the ufc is having its own ppv sales issues. They were really struggling till Rousey and Conor came along. Theyll be fine but the demise of boxing has been greatly exaggerated.

Never worry about the future of boxing. Time and again boxing comes back with great fights and huge viewing figures/PPV sales. If it hasn't withered away by now, it never will.

Ironically UFC appears to me to have peaked. Take McGregor out and the promotional company is struggling to reach the consistent heights it once did.

Another irony is that neither the popularity of MMA, nor boxing takes from the other. The hardcore fans of one are generally the casuals of the other. Some are hardcore fans of both. Of course some fans don't like the other but from my experience that's mostly boxing fans not liking MMA.
