I read last week that the fight is supposedly going to be officially announced later this week, so if we don't hear anything within the next couple of days then I'm doubtful this fight will still be scheuled for 2018, if it still gets made at all.

I'm guessing it's now 70/30 It's not going to happen this year.......they might wait until pantomime season is over so that they can have one all to themselves

Tyson Fury isn`t shot but has been totally inactive at the top level. Both comeback fights against very poor opposition. Wilder would be a lot less keen to take on Fury if he had 4 or 5 comeback fights under his belt.

It will be announced this week.

Next week, probably, they’ll do a media tour and hit London, maybe Belfast or Manchester, then New York and LA and Las Vegas and probably Atlanta and maybe another stop or two. Would be a good week to do it with AJ and Povetkin coming up ...

Btw, are they doing anything to promote that fight? Haven’t heard a word. Is it still on?

Would have to be anounced a week before AJ vs Povetkin. Wilder cant pull a crowd and Fury is fighting on undercards, these two need to suckle off Joshuas thunder to get any sort of attention.

Joshua’s thunder for this fight is more like pissing rain. Seriously, are you sure they’re still fighting? Someone should try to promote it to generate interest.

So they are suckling off Joshuas pissy rain. Wouldnt suprise me if they have signed to fight in April next year to try and milk more of Joshuas pissy rain, give both a tune up fight, plus, they are going to need a long time to promote this one, they wont be able to make much without mentioning Joshuas name 10,000 times. But to be fair, this fight is much more attractive with better prep from Fury anyway.

They will wait until the 22nd September and piggy back off Joshua's fight interest. Neither of those fighters can generate enough funds and with the three pensioners managing them I'd be surprised if this happens at all.

shouldn't you be spinning this to blame Hearn or AJ somehow?
