Style wise I believe Bakole presents more of challenge than Zhang. I just think Zhang is far too slow for AJ. Zhang gass tank is even worse than AJs too. However Zhang has a much more impressive wins than Bakole has on his record in the two Joyce wins.

As for big punchers, AJ has already beaten some the hardest hitters in the division in Wlad, Povetkin and Whyte.

You are scraping the barrel with a 41 year old man, a small old Russian man in his late 30s and a Xmas Pudding Ped Pie.

If the little pie muncher from Mexico can land on Joshua, Zhang will have no problem landing and Joshua will fall apart when he does.

He will also hate the big punching and pressure from Bakole.

Fight one of these two next and win would impress me more than any of the garbage wins on his record.

The only 'war' and adversity he has come through in the ring was fighting an old man at 41 years of age.

Nah that was a tweet and he was talking the fact he kept to his word after the first fight.

Unless you're suggesting there was no way Wilder could have accepted that DAZN offer?

Povetkin? One best HWs of this era with far better record than Wilder.

Povetkin beat the likes of Whyte, Byrd, Chagaev (these first 3 are better than anyone Wilder has beaten), Takam, Perez, Huck, Price and made easy work of Duphaupas (who busted up Wilder).

Whilst Povetkin proved he wasn't past after the AJ fight by beating Hughie, Drawing with Hunter and KOing Whyte.

Ruiz you refer to a pie muncher beat Wilders best win in Ortiz.

Zhang although dangerous is to open and slow for AJ, he will teeing off with the combos (AJ also beat him amateurs). Let's not forget how bad Zhang looked against Forrest, had that fight gone on 30 seconds more Zhang would have been stopped.

I agree there is no way AJs lot will let him near Zhang or to a lesser extent Bakole. Far too dangerous sadly. Let’s hope they get a stupidly high Saudi offer for Zhang which they cannot turn down.

Teeing off with combos against Zhang? I don’t think so, I doubt he would trade with him. He only threw one decent combination that landed last Saturday night, which was the one that finished crappy Wallin a few seconds later when Gamache pitifully threw the towel in. Can’t knock Joshua for that though.

I think Sanchez stylistically would prove tougher test for AJ than Zhang in my opinion.

    Facts stated Mitch

AJ can only fight one guy at a time but yet the others that miss out are ducked?

    Strange logic

Scraping the bowels of Matchroom HQ again I see.

Connor Benn collected Povetkin's Drug Test Belt and the other belt he held was the Manny Charr special £2.99 out of M&S.

I agree with most of this but Zhang was literally dying in the Forrest fight

    It's not a fair critique

Another 30 secs in Usyk v Joshua 1 would have been the same - fight stopped.

    I agree.

Although there's a bit difference in quality (putting it mildly) between Usyk and Forrest.

so we’ve moved on to Bakole being the new boogeyman for AJ, since Wallin showed himself to be an utter lemon
