    Joshua is overrated.

Wlad was outboxing him and winning and then gassed. Fury outboxes Joshua and maybe even stops him late.

Wilder might end Joshua early because he's so hittable. I just don't see Wilder holding back on such a hittable target.

Spilzka, Washington, Ortiz. Those guys could actually box and use their legs and use angles and throw punches.

They didn't just move to their left and do the same move over and over and over again like Parker was allowed to do on Joshua and may have even learned enough from the body punching that he can stop Joshua unless Joshua learns Wlad's clinching style ASAP.

    Joshua is highly overrated.

Miller, Fury, and people I probably haven't seen enough of are harder opponents for Wilder. Wilder is just not a good match up for Joshua who really can't box that well.

Because Wilder has to step back into another county and slings that right from somewhere in a different continent so wide that it passes over one of the poles before arriving back in the ring via customs to land on his opponents chin. Fortunately for Wilder he’s only fought D level opponents who are still stood there waiting to get hit, Joshua will have moved and landed his own KO shot by that time.

The same way he took Klitschko’s right hand bomb then got back up and KO’d Wladimir

If people think that he’s unbeatable then they are overrating him.

That aside, he is the unified heavyweight champion, with the best CV.

Where in the hell do you get the notion that Wilder can take a punch?

Joshua displayed amazing stamina in last nights fight, don’t confuse stamina with punching yourself out which is temporary

If Wilder throws caution to the wind (Ha) and comes out swinging then he’ll walk onto Joshua’s straighter more direct punching ability and it’ll be a very short fight

Joshua’s not unbeatable but beyond a Hail Mary right hand Wilder is struggling

You caught feelings? I’m not sure Joshua beat anyone better than Ortiz.

Wilder is too fast and too athletic, the difference in hand speed is dramatic, and more than I previously thought.

AJ has become much more defense minded and cautious.

This is a huge benefit to Wilder.

It means that Wilder will have more time and space to find AJ’s temple.

Wilder would not win by standing and exchanging.

With AJ’s new style, they’ll cautiously peck at each other until Wilder lands a bomb.

And if Wilder does get wobbled, AJ will be much less likely to commit to finishing the job. Meaning better odds for Wilder to recover.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see AJ become even more cautious after the Parker fight. He struggled. He nearly lost the empire he’s built. And that was against pillow fisted Parker. Against a knockout artist like Wilder where any hit could end everything? AJ will be even more fearful.

This post pretty much sums up my view. For the most part Joshua controlled the fight with his jab, utilzing his superior reach. He won't have the same advantage against Wilder but he doesn't need it, assuming he boxes the same way against Parker. His timing and movement will compensate, along with his combination punching, both at range and on the inside. He needs to stick at around the weight he was last night though. What we saw last night I think is a blueprint for how Joshua will generally fight from now on. He views Wlad and Mayweather as examples of how he wants to fight. Wilder isn't defensively sound enough to prevent Joshua with frequent counterpunching opportunities and Wilder doesn't have Parker's chin when he does ship one of Joshua's bombs.

The main danger for Joshua is when he hurts Wilder (and he will at some point) and goes for the finish, that he catches one of those windmills and gets tagged himself. I don't think Joshua's chin is anywhere near as bad as some people make out. He took a monster right from Wlad (who is genuinely an all time great heavyweight puncher) and got back up. If Wilder hits him flush he may be in big trouble but I think it's more likely that Joshua hurts and finishes Wilder first. Will be a great fight I think when it happens.

Well I guess the good news is the fight looks more even that it did a year ago. Wilder isn't quite as bad as some thought and Joshua isn't quite as good as some felt he would become.

But I like Joshua to outclass and take Wilder out. However you just can't say Wilder has not chance, even it he's a shaky boxer and not the most durable. He's got a tremulous right hand and I think a bit better stamina at a high work rate for the later rounds.

AJ is still not moving his head gents, plus Wilder has more than just a right hand and a better reach than Parker. He also has a better jab. Hearn is doing AJ a big favor by keeping him away from Wilder because Wilder would break every bone in his face.
