Wilder v Joshua

    Should Wilder beat Zhang which is by no means a formality will we get to see the long awaited fight between Wilder and Joshua ? The fight is way past its sell by date and did not happen when it mattered but most fans would still like to see it . Joshua does not at this time have a fight lined up so do we eventually get to see this fight ?

    If we get to see the fight then AJ wins.

    Wilder has clearly lost the eye of the tiger and the Fury wars have really taken it out of him.

    AJ looks the fresher of the two at this stage.

    I’d say probably. Eddie is moist for this fight.
    It should be easy to make now that Wilder is in the matchroom stable.

    Yeah this fight will happen if Wilder puts away zhang

    I know many on this forum don't think that Is possible or want wilder to succeed, buy Aj vs Wilder is still a banger

    Wilder only would have a punchers chance at best now, but I would still like to see it. I'm pretty certain Joshua would beat him

    This was always a mismatch in Joshua's favour.

    Wilder has the same punchers chance he always had.

    Odds are it still doesn't happen, IMHO, but I don't mind seeing Wilder get smashed up.

    I would have favoured him years ago and still think he has a chance

    Parkers win isn't AJ's, boxing doesn't work like that

    If Wilder can get past Zhang then hopefully the menace and ring presence Wilder once had has returned after it being completely missing in the Parker fight. Joshua has looked good in his last 2 fights under Ben Davison,looking destructive and confident which is a good sign and no doubt in a fight with Wilder we will actually see if Joshua has improved or reverts back to type with hesitancy and lack of confidence facing somebody like Wilder. I have always favoured Wilder by brutal KO win over Joshua however if the Wilder turns up that fought Parker then Joshua most likely blasts him out early doors. Like I mentioned this fight has been too long in the making but plenty of fans would still like to see this fight and it still would generate a lot of interest even now .

    This could well be why Hearn thinking down the road approached Wilder for the Zhang fight,Hearn has his critics and rightly so but he is a clever businessman and no doubt should Wilder or even Zhang win then the winner very possibly gets the Joshua fight .

    I think Wilder is very old and suffered more beatings, but if he overcomes zhang, then yes I would enjoy this still

    Wilder is an old man and not what he was in Fury fights, but I think he still has a chance of smashing Aj early

    I think so.

    Not that Wilder will beat Joshua at this stage. Although I would very much like for that to happen.

    Could be Joshua's best opportunity to get Deontay on his resume, but, Wilder himself tried to do that with Fury when he was low and it didn't work out so well for him.

    I mean to say Wilder doesn't seem to have his fire and Joshua could use that, or, he could awaken it and end up with more than he bargained for. So I am still interested.

    That said, I don't think so. Joshua's got himself right close to a title. I doubt he takes a very dangerous fight before a title elim or fight.

    Lets see how it goes with zhang first . Don,t judge after only the parker fight
