Mark, who has Wilder layed out 1 punch ?? Look at the quality hes fought, Cunningham done the same as Wilder to Fury, among others..Hes got a good long shot on him, but your talking like its the heaviest ever when hes fighting at a low level

 

Your falling a part with this one, Bruno's jab was light years better than Wilders, heavier too, Mercers a level above Wilder also, and stops him in 6-8 rounds, i think Wilder COULD beat Bruno though, MAYBE !

He didn't hit Fury until late in the fight. He didn't hit the very limited Szpilka until later in the fight.

Again, Tua was never down until well after he should have been retired, well after what must be considered prime Tua, which is what I suppose we are considering here. I think Tua will get there first and last.

No technique? I'd say it can be improved. A guy with no technique wouldn't be able to go 9-0-1 in title fights at HW. If he was so bad, someone should've laid him out by now. He's not even one of the bigger HWs. He's constantly giving away 20-30 lbs (his last 6 opponents outweighed him on avg. by 30 lbs).

No jab? He's been out jabbed once in his career. That was against Fury (46-40). Fury has the best jab in the division. If you know boxing, you know how hard it is to outjab a technically sound southpaw. That's what Wilder did against Ortiz.

Washington schooled him for 5,6 rounds? Wilder KO'd him in the 5th round. Most people gave Washington the first 3 rounds because Wilder wasn't throwing ****, Washington simply outworked him. You call that getting "schooled"? Losing 3 rounds is getting schooled? Wilder also took that fight on a 3 week notice.
