Just a quick thread away from the Froch v Groves circus.... Been quiet regarding this match up around the forums. How do people see this one ending in Wilders 1st legit test with a decent Heavyweight? Personally I think Wilder is ****. Plenty of power but most heavys carry power in buckets (enough to ko a man anyway)..... he seemed to add a half decent jab to his game in his last outing but for me his foot speed...lateral movement ...head movement is non existent and he still insists on telegraphing his shots days before he throws um. I've thought for a long time that a decent heavy will ko him easily and Scott is that heavy who whilst fairly average in all departments has enough savvy and tools in his arsenal to end the Wilder circus/hype. I'm going to call it now and I'm going for a Scott tko rnds 7-9..... very much like Tony Thompson did to big David Price but a bit later. Lirva if your reading this I'm having £8000000 on this! Followers are urged to lump on! Seriously how do you guys see this!? Thanks....
Sorry to sit on the fence but I agree with you about Scott being a good boxer. If Wilder wins this,he is the real deal.I can see it being a struggle for him,but Id say he will win on points and be very tired at the end.Close points win.
If del can drop scott I would be very surprised if wilder cant. Wilder has a massive reach and I can see a right hand landing over the top and ending Scotts night, he is however a good boxer and may be able to stay away from danger, box his way to a win and prove me completely wrong. I would have to go with a wilder mid rounds stoppage.
I think Malik can do it... I've watched a lot of his training camp stuff from ES news he seems relaxed and focused. Plus the class he showed after the Chisora farce I'd love to see him upset the applecart. Always have a lot of time for a switch hitter too, it's why I've become a bigger supporter of Degale of late now that he's tried to add that to his game
Remember when everyone was on here saying Audley was going to KO Wilder lol.... Wilder is brutal but still has enough to put Scott away within 3.
Good post. Unfortunately i think Wilder is going to blast Scott out of there inside 3 rds, it may even end in the 1st if Deontay starts fast. The way to beat Wilder is through brute power and having an iron chin, these are two things Scott has a lack of. This fight is going to make Wilder look spectacular.
