Knowing Wilders MO of fighting the Weak opposition, for his next fight:

I had what I know was unrealistic hope for - Sanchez or Ruiz but they would batter Wilder.

Even Helenius or Martin would be viewed by his team as too tough of tests and risky for him.

I was expecting either - Kownacki or Ajagba.

    However Byran is even worse!

Wilder the boxing joke that keeps on giving.

Bryan went from 237 to 267. Kind of a red flag. I know he had a 3 year layoff but come on. Dude is in his prime, he should definitely lose some weight if he wants to get in there with a dangerous guy like Wilder.

On an unrelated note, Bryan looks like he could be a sit com dad with his dopey grin and affable expression. I can't really take him seriously. If he doesn't put the burgers down, that could be a viable alternative career option.

Bryan is possibly step up from some of the strap defences Wilder made.

Wait so did Trever ever manage to extricate himself from the clutches of Don King, or do I have to root for mother****ing Deontay? :shakehead:

Even Wilder knows his avid 'fanbase' are borderline vegetables.

Can you imagine the hate if Whyte or Joshua fought Bryan following their defeats?

Look out for the 'Unbeaten champ' Bryan. A young hungry lion, as they'd say :roflmao:

AJ got slated for having Bryan as one of the 5 guy rumoured to step in as a late replacement for Miller.

Whyte was also slated when he was rumoured to be Whyte's opposition after Qhyte claimed he wanted asy keep busy fight after after Povetkin.

Yet now that Wilder is fighting him , Bryan is a acceptable opponent now in this forum?

Then again I expect nothing less from a guy who earned a title shot by beating Gavern of all people and went to make defences against the likes of Stiverne, Arreola, Molina, Washington, Szilka, Duhaupas, Ortiz and Breazeale.

If Wilder needs easier opponent let him fight Jerry Forrest, He don't deserve to fight for some tittle after that kind of loses

I don't know about that. Bryan's best win is a shot to hell Stiverne at his 2nd highest weight ever and Bryan himself was 30lbs overweight and honestly looked like a journeymen in there. That Bryan probably isn't any better than Duhaupas or Molina, maybe better than shot Arreola, but then again maybe not at least Arreola showed up in shape for Wilder.

The fact that Bryan looked so terrible vs Stiverne is no doubt a factor in why Wilder's team chose him, just like they chose Ortiz after he struggled vs Scott and Allen and Fury looked far from at his best going into the first Wilder fight. I honestly would be surprised if Bryan lasted 3 rounds with Wilder and he may not last that long considering it took him 11 rounds to get rid of the worst version of Stiverne we've ever seen who Wilder KO'ed in 1 round.

To be fair Wlad and Lennox weren’t 36 with 10 defenses

True: Wlad was 27 with 5 defences and 42 fights, Lewis was 29 with 3 defences and 26 fights. Both also had extensive amateur experience and were Olympic gold medalists. So they can be forgiven for taking on weaker opposition after a defeat in their next two fights than Wilder will in his next fight coming off two defeats and far more punishing ones at that.

I'd rather him face someone like Helenius but that might be too risky at the moment considering he needs to regain his confidence and build some momentum.

I think he can be let off with Bryan but if he faces another sub par opponent after this then he should be called out on it.

Helenius would get absolutely decimated vs Wilder.
