That's the kind of circus crap I'd gladly fork over $40 to see lol. I guess it really boils down to whether Wilder hits hard enough to knock Valuev out or just **** him off.
I don't think Wilders skill set could cope with the slickness & ring IQ of the Russian so he'd have to go for the kill
Deontay would break his hands aginst Nico. Also power would not be as devastating aginst 7'2 giant. If wilder would pick haye or holyfield approach he would win by ud like he did aginst Stiverne, but would he is the question.
Valuev I don't think Wilder would knock Valuev out and think he would have problems connecting clean with Valuevs long jab. The weight of Valuev could also be a problem if they got into alot of clinching. I think Valuev was a good HW who had a certain style weakness but if you didn't have that style would likely not beat him
David Haye had him all over the place with a left hook. So I imagine Wilder's 1-2 would have the possibility to do similiar if it landed.
Valuev by UD Wilder doesn’t have the skill set to be able to implement the David Haye strategy and pot shot Valuev and win a UD. That was an old version of Valuev too, post prime. He may end up breaking both his hands on Valuevs thick skull. But Valuev would get the better of him
If Wilder struggled with the footwork of a bum like Fury, then just imagine what would happen if he fought Sugar Valuev. No a serious note. Wilder would kick Valuev's ass. Valuev is one of the worst heavyweight champions I have seen in my lifetime.
Being slow and 7 feet tall is a horrible combination against a devastating hitter with long arms like Wilder. If Valuev was a defensive fighter or had more speed he'd win easily but his overall skill was fairly basic.
Wilder is such a horrible boxer I don't think he would have the skill set to direct his punches upwards
