The worrying thing for Wilder isn't just that Parker outboxed him. He looked weak as a kitten. Even if he'd managed to land on Parker with a flush right hand I reckon Parker would have taken it fine. Never felt like that watching a Wilder fight before.

Wilder needs to go to bridgerweight.

I'm obsessive by nature, that's a separate issue. But I know that if Wilder fights a Duhaupas or Franklin type next them I'm betting on the Duhaupas or Franklin type.

He has slow feet, yes, but since he's near equal in height and reach this shouldn't make the difference it made for Ortiz.

And, yes, his defence is fairly basic, but he has a solid double guard which should go a long way against Wilder's limited offence.

Of course what the hell do I know. I predicted Fury to school and stop N'Gannou and Spence to beat Crawford, albeit in a tight affair.

And Wilder has the kind of power that always makes him a maverick.

A bit of activity might actually be good for Wilder.

Getting 12 rounds against Parker, even though he got beaten easily, and then going straight to another camp may help his sharpness.

    Id like to see it.

If this card happens, I think it's a good chance that the two winners meet up in Riaydh later in the year.

Hopefully with a summer fight between Joshua and Hrgovic in between

On the same card surely. Look how many hits prime Wilder took from Ortiz before landing the eraser. Zhang would literally blow Wilder out of his stockings now.
There's no way he takes this fight coming off such a lopsided loss to Parker

Good fight, but I see Zhang beating Wilder because Wilder has nothing left in the tank.

Ortiz landed plenty in large part because Wilder was trying to win. If Wilder just tries to survive as he did against Parker then slow-footed Zhang's opportunities to land will be much more limited.

If Wilder intends to cash out and get out of the sport asap (very plausible) then I don't see why the fight won't happen next. Everyone is a risk at this stage. I don't think this version of Wilder beats a 2015 Duhaupas. Too tough and determined.

What a fight for Wilder. Right back in the mix if he wins this.

Don't wanna hear people crying about Zhang being 40 if Wilder wins.

On the face of it this is a terrible match for Wilder & a likely brutal K.O loss. But if Wilder somehow pulls off a spectacular K.O he's right back in the mix.

Zhang actually is quite elusive for his size. He knows how to use his feet. You don't need to have fast feet, but to actually know how to use your feet and to measure the distance, and Zhang is million times better than Wilder at this.

Also in terms of power Zhang is million time more proven, as he just KOed Joe Joyce, who absolutely have a granite chin. Wilder never ever beaten anyone even with a half-decent chin.
We saw what happen with Parker, even though he couldn't land even once flush.

If Wilder take this fight i will give him credit, but i'm almost certain Wilder will duck the fight.

Cause all of his opponents was bums maybe? And you knew they were never good enough to stay discipline for 12 rounds?
