Don’t get this as Wlads record speaks for itself and whilst Ortiz is well ranked his performances over the past few years have been very ordinary.
Imagine what Wlad would of done to scoober Scott,Dave Allen ect Hearn made those fights for Ortiz to be showcase fights and Ortiz really sucked.
Re Wlad he really let Fury do his head in and he never looked sure of himself both in the build up and fight but I rather think if they fought a rematch Wlad could of KOd fury.
Last point if you’d of never known of Wlad and you saw him for the first time v AJ I doubt you’d of thoughtgoing off how he fought that night that he looked old as AJ to my eyes was the one gassing, the only criticism I had of Wlad that night was him not going in for the kill in round six but equallyyou gotta give props to AJ for taking a ten count and avoiding Wlads shots thereafter.

Regardless most have it as fight of the year and rightly so as rarely do fights have the drama and twists and turns that it had.

Lol about Breazeale but I’m with you on Bud,defo my no 1 pound for pound guy at the mo,despite his size I still back him to beat all the top welterweights inc Spence.

    Quite simply he’s that Good.

Bruh, I DVR'd the whole ****. Ortiz was talking over the rope to Wilder after he won by ko, and started and kept talking to Wilder until Wilder took his headset off and got into the ring. I don't care what Ortiz said because I couldn't understand him but when Wilder walked into the ring, you saw Ortiz's face. He sat and listened and then started talking. So don't try to lie or water down what really happened, lmao. Had he even raised a fist or got out of line Wilder Might've snuck his ass. Wilder was calm and talking to him about blessing him, and his translator translated everything into Ortiz's ear.

Good post. On a side note: Wlad's 38, 39, 40 and 41 are a lot older than Ortiz's 37-38 years of age because Wlad has paid his dues, fought the best, taken punishment and redeemed his career. Ortiz has yet to be hit by a puncher.

You're either fresh in this sport or not. Looks and age don't matter a lot in boxing if you haven't taken a lot of punishment. Either you have gone through the wear and tear of the sport or not. That's how I judge age in this sport. If you're used to seeing a guy do different things in the ring and he can't anymore, we scream that he can't let his punches go anymore. He can't pull the trigger.

Wlad couldn't let his punches go anymore, and young good guys can expose you for not being able to pull the trigger. True skill matters also. Wlad couldn't pull the trigger against Fury because of his age and Fury's befuddlement of Wlad. Wlad had Joshua hurt and couldn't finish him because Joshua...to his credit has a decent defense when he covers up.

And don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for Breazeale as a fighter because he is a fighter who can take punishment...and he will fight back, but he's just not that good.

I love this kid Conlan. After the interview...they were blasting What up Gangsta:

    50 CENT

G-Unit (Bo!) We in here (Bo!)
We can get the drama popping, we don't care (Bo! bo! bo!)
It's going down (Bo!) Cause I'm around (Bo!)
50 Cent, you know how I gets down

    [Chorus: x2]
    What up, Blood? (What?)
    What up, Cuz? (What?)
    What up, Blood? (What?)
    What up, gangsta?

They say I walk around like got an S on my chest
Naw, that's a semi-auto, and a vest on my chest
I try not to say nothing, the DA might want to play in court
    But I'll hunt or duck a ***** down, like it's a sport
Front on me, I'll cut ya gun-butt ya or bump ya
You getting money? I can't get none with ya, then **** ya
I'm not the type to get knocked for D.W.I
I'm the type that'll kill your connect when the coke price rise
Gangstas, they bump my ****, them they know me
I grew up around some *****s that's not my homies
Hundred G's I stash it (what) the mack I blast it (yeah)
D's come we dump the diesel and battery acid
This flow's been mastered, the ice I flash it
Jux me, I'll have your mama picking out your casket, *******
I'm on the next level, Breitling baguette bezel
Benz pedal to the metal, hotter than a tea kettle, blood (what)

Yep that was odd against Fury,I reckon it was on account of Manuel Stewards teaching but against Joshua he seemed to have thrown the Manuel Stewards teach book outta the window which is most impressive for someone at the end of his career, steward taught him to only throw if it’s there which looked awful v Fury.
Oh apparently one other reason Wlad never finished him is that his brother Vitali in his corner was telling him caution and not to go in for kill which Vitali to his credit has owned up to and has said he was wrong and would’ve liked to changed it.

dont care for the post fight antics who said what / who is scared / who is the baddest man / neither fighter is likely to be intimidated by the other /

if bad boy antics were what won fights chisora would be 39-0 as well as deontay.

i did not think ortiz v wilder would happen with deontay chasing ortiz and self promoting the fight hopefully it will happen.

i like both fighters / but both need desperatley to fight someone in the top 10

    each other would do great.
