So after he was 40 years old he developed more stamina?lol
His problem wasn't stamina, it was pacing!

His problem was pacing in the 70's and being tense!

He did a lot more cardio in his comeback he even self admitted he didn't even jog much or do long periods of bag work in his younger years.

He did far more endurance work in the 80'/90's probably up until 94.

It wouldn't matter if he was younger, stamina is used through how you apply it in a fight and he was way more relaxed and paced himself so yes he had more stamina in the 90's ...end of!

Even when this goes over your head take the time to actually check around , there's plenty of articles or quotes of him comparing how he was different in both eras and former trainers backing up what I posted!

Why are you repeating what I have said as an argument?
I reiterate Foreman did not have stamina problems, he had pacing problems.
George came out like gangbusters and shot his wad quickly , once he learned to relax he had no problems going 12 rds ,even at the advanced age of 45.You don't develop more stamina in your late 40's!
It isn't going over my head ,I read his autobiography a few years ago and it sits on my boxing book shelf! The stamina was always there, the pacing wasn't!

He did have stamina problems...if he didn't he would not have gassed or got as sloppy as rounds progressed.

That is having stamina problems if one can't keep up with their own pace ! This was Foremans problem and I told you why.

Pacing yourself doesn't really prove you have good stamina so your just assuming 70's Foreman had better stamina but there's nothing to actually show this compared to Foreman up until his Moorer fight at least.

Foreman was 250/265 in his comeback and got hit a lot more that requires better stamina in itself , he had great stamina in his comeback..you yourself posted he didn't even sit in between rounds to add to this so your just arguing to argue as usual.....lol

Nope, I just don't by your theory.I repeat your stamina does not improve when you hit 40 and take on 40lbs of flab!
I do agree with much of your content ,which might surprise you!

A KNOCKOUT ROUTINE : George Foreman On The Joys Of Skipping-- and Egg Whites

    article in 1995..

search and read that and tell me about who can do what and when?

Foreman was mostly muscle as muscle weighs more then fat....anyone telling me Foreman wasn't solid says everything just bc he was girthy !

Foreman wasn’t fat in his comeback, he joked about it and a lot of people believed it, but he was solid and strong. He showed that a boxer, to fight 3 minute rounds, with a minute rest did not need to be skinny. Foreman was not fast in the 70s, in his comeback he just came back bigger and stronger, exaggerating his strengths which were always size and strength. He conditioned himself by pushing cars, lifting weights, etc. Foreman was smart and his conditioning program was ahead of most fighters in his comeback.

People are really deranged in this section most of the time , one has to ask what television screen are they looking at ?

If I had my back up files on my computer, I could have ended this topic in the first post bc I have many things that's hard to find around and I have things I've written years ago to back up outlandish claims.

To be fair Qawi, J. Scott and Liston learned to "box in the can" and they weren't half bad.
