I don't see Wilder having the skillset necessary to stop Tyson. One punch or one big shot usually wasnt enough to give Tyson pause. It took a consistant peppering to get inside that glass mind of his. Wilder doesn't use his jab to its fullest

I used to think AJ beats prime Foreman. I was sniffing glue in my sleep.

    Wilder by brutal KO.
And then he wakes up only to know that it was Tyson who leveled him easily in the first and Donkey was dreaming.

I often see ridiculous predictions of A would KO B in one round, and most od=f them are wild exaggerations and off mark, even when they have the right winner.

In this instance, however, I think that Tyson probably does deal with Wilder in the first. He was a quick starter who could get close early and Wilder's punch resistance would probably not be up to dealing with Tyson's explosive power.

Tyson by devastating KO in 1.

    (Maybe 2).

Tyson by KO.Wilder lacks fundamentals. He needs to learn how to throw a proper jab.

Tyson on the comeback from the Douglas knockout seemed determined to prove how tough and durable he was to show that it was just off night against Buster. That’s why he chose to fight the feared Rudduck in a non title fight when everyone else was running for the hills from Razor after he almost killed Dokes. Watch the 2 fights with Rudduck and you see that it was like Tyson forgot all about his defence and head movement just to prove that his chin could take the bests shots that Ruddock could throw and still win and he did. It proved that while 91 Tyson might not have seem the unbeatable disciplined fighting machine he was in 88, preferring to load up more with single punches and less concerned with defence and movement, he still was as tough and durable as hell. That’s why I think he would beat Wilder in a crazy shootout as he will be able to take Wilder big hits far better than Wilder will able to take his.

The pre prison Tyson in 91 was still a beast of a fighter.

To me wilder never learnt how to box.He knows how to throw that right hand but that is it.No jab no left hook no proper combos.Breland does the best he can under the circumstances I guess.

It would take 96 + Tyson to lose.

    Tyson KO.

Can Wilder actually fight? Is my question him beating any version of Tyson between 1985 until 2000 is very remote..... At best.
