pretty much when followed by "this would be a good match up for Wilder" you can almost be 100% guaranteed it will never happen.
Wilder is the new David Haye. Hundreds of threads with hypotheticals ... Wilder vs Mansour, Wilder vs prime Mike Tyson, Wilder vs Batman. Wilder vs Amir Mansour would be a great match-up, but until it's signed I don't see any point speculating on it. I wish Wilder would just fight Stiverne sooner rather than later, whether he deserves it or not, just to get it done.
There is no need to rush this kid so early with dangeroys opponents. I see alot of bias towards Wilder who is young developing talent.
He is the number one contender in a major organization's rankings it is time to **** or get off the pot honestly.
Mansour is one of the better fighters over there in America. he's even dangerous with the right style match-up. who wins? Mansour will have Wilder out of there in no more than 4. but don't worry, Wilder isn't touching this guy with a barge pole. especially with a WBC shot around the corner. this would be too much of a step up for Deontay right now.
Mansour was dropped by Steve Cunningham, he wouldn't make it out of round 1 with Wilder and I don't like Wilder.
Late in a fight when he was gassed from trying to knock Cunningham out after he dropped him twice... Wilder doesn't have the chin to eat Mansours shots or the boxing ability to take him into the late rounds and drown him. One flush shot from Mansour, and it's night-night for the fraud.
