Is this really any worse than Ali vis Richard Dunn or "The Lion of Flanders" Jean-Pierre Coopman?

Seriously ****py fight...surely they could have found some truly deserving of a title shot, but Ali "stayed busy" fighting bums for years in between huge and famous fights. Wilder needs a fight with a deserving challenger before we can take him seriously.

MVC will probably make a 'Chris Arreola is actually a dangerous fight' thread once it's official

Arreola is washed up, but if he lands a solid shot on that fragile mandible of Wilder's, he could win it.

And then reply to the same thread under his alt Shockmaster to agree with himself and root himself on.

He's had 36 "stayed busy" fights, isn't that enough already? Wilder is a disgrace.

Well, I'm officially done with Wilder until he fights someone worth a nickel. Arreola is inexcusable at this stage, he's been going life and death with utter bums lately. Will never believe he couldn't have done better.

    Major disappointment.

    Disgraceful homage to Ali too.

Props for calling how it is and not deflecting like some of his other fans.

Its disgraceful. Up until now I think Wilder was getting a lot of unfair flack. His last few opponents have been iffy but not as bad as some people say.

But Chris Arreola, especially after they dismissed the idea of a fight with David Haye because he apparently hadn't fought good enough competition since his comeback, is a clear easy way out. Arreola has looked putrid against club fighters his last three fights.

I don't blame him for the Povetkin situation, but no way am I convinced they could not find a better opponent than Arreola.

I think it may be time to give up on boxing altogether. To corrupt and ridiculous.

Wilder could've fought Hercules and you ****s would have a problem with that. Nobody cares about your crying.

He went just slightly lower than Hercules with the Arreola selection. You're right though, we're all just mean people on here. Heck when he was a child we probably would've taken his lunch money or gave him a swirly.

You're just a shameless ****riding fanboy who defends anything Wilder does. Even the guy above a huge Wilder fan who defended him a lot in the past couldn't bring himself to stick up for Wilder here.
