Wilder vs Arreola on May 3rd undercard?

    If Floyd jr does fight Amir Khan, GBP should put Wilder against Arreola on the undercard. I know that Canelo has a date to fight in March, so he won't be on it. Broner might take the offer to fight on the undercard. I really think this can happen since Wilder is with Golden Boy. This would be a hell of a fight. I don't want Wilder vs Chisora because that won't last 3 rounds. Arreola in my opinion is the only heavyweight with a chin strong enough to withstand Wilders looping punches.

    WBC already said it has to be Arreola vs Stiverne II

    Doubt Arreola fights Wilder that quickly if he beats Stiverne

    WBC has ordered Arreola/Stiverne rematch for the title. Wilder does not deserve a title shot since he has never fought anyone in the top 60 or so.........

    I believe Audley was just inside the top40 when they fought, on behalf of his 2nd Prizefighter win. But other then that you're absolutely right.

    If they want to hype Wilder before he fights the winner of the Arreola vs. Stiverne fight for the WBC title, this wouldn't be a bad idea. I would imagine that Golden Boy would put him on the March Alvarez PPV undercard though, as I would also imagine Arreola/Stiverne goes down before May 3rd. Wishful thinking? Why not throw Arreola/Stiverne on the Mayweather undercard?

    Don't think either Arreola or Stiverne are promoted by Golden Boy so they probably wouldn't entertain the idea.

    Wouldn't mind seeing it though.

    I would love to see Arreola knock Wilder out, but this fight just isn't going to happen. Wilder will continue to fight bums and hasbeens until it's time for him to be cashed out.

    Wilder is an arrested catatonic state of development as a fighter. There is an abstraction of Wilder being a Heavyweight contender, but that is only an entity, an illusory, a carefully guided, fabricated and manipulated, false hope.

    Agree that Arreola doesnt really deserve to fight for it again after he lost but how did Wilder male it to #3 without fighting anybody in the top 50?!!
