Arreola in his last fight before Wilder against ****ing Kauffman...the guy was done, he couldn't even convincingly win his gimmes anymore.

Pretty clear that they desperately wanted him as a belt holder too... Hence all of the opportunities and inflated rankings over the years. Wouldn't be the first Mexican fighter they've done this with.

Arreola wasn't even ranked in the WBC top 15 at the time Wilder started throwing his name around. In fact he was on suspension for failing a drugs test which Wilder's team conveniently glossed over after the Povetkin debacle. He magically appeared just in time for the fight to be announced of course, didn't even bother to train in the three weeks or so he was given (who would?) and promptly turned up to collect his minuscule check in a one sided drubbing that Wilder even had the gall to showboat in. In was a shower of turds from every conceivable POV and made me a lifelong member of the Wilder hate club.

Arreola was at his peak when he got stopped by Vitali Klitschko....................he did not train, he got fat, went down hill from partying too much. By the time he fought Wilder he was a small shell of himself. If Arreola had had anything left Wilder would not have fought him..............

Just a typical Wilder opponent, someone who had zero chance well maybe it was 90/10 in favour of Wilder and apparently Wilders best opponent is Stiverne and yet Wilder is still 80/20 on to beat him.
I don't care about him facing Ortiz,Povetkin ect cause I said long ago that I don't expect that of him but just to have him in a fight like AJs replacement opponent Takam would be a huge step up for him or Pulev,Whyte or any live opponent who you could give a punchers chance would be a step up so guys like Miller,Ruiz,Breazele and Whyte would all be fights where I could at least give him some credit for winning as appose to these punching bags he often faces, truly I've never seen a champ like him or who has so much drama re his opponents.
Gotten to the point now where we all know the script with him and can actually call what's gonn happen and I reckon most on here said that the only opponent he was ever gonna face was Stiverne

 Even a prime Arreola gets dominated by Wilder and that doesn't mean Wilder's any good.

Arreola's never been elite.. He had potential but its obvious he doesnt take good care of himself and has really bad habits outside of camps.. Always dissapoints when hes in against a tough challenge.. Fun to watch but not a very disciplined fighter

What was right with Arreola? Shot to ****, 3 weeks notice for the fight (typical of the majority of Windmillers 'opponents'), absolutely 0 conditioning coming off a string of poor performances so no form going in, no ambition and a sparring partner mentality. All that just about tipped the scales in Bong's favour. As said previous, this joke of a fight firmly ensconced me in the 'I hate Wilder' club
