Pointless fight which won't teach the bronze bomber much.

I think the risk is not worth it for Price. He's been there and done that. He will never be close to Elite level, he's had his chances and should think of retiring. Could be that he lands on Wilder first, but I don't think he'll finish the job.

Battle of the glass jaws with very good power. Would make for entertaining fight for short time it lasts. Could go either way.

Price does have good skills and power. People are just too busy mocking him to realise he's basically only lost to contenders or the roid kebab. The Chisora fight was stupid to take with little prep. The fight against Allen should have reminded everyone that he does have some 'pedigree'. He easily beat Allen, who was on a decent run, and apparently Price hurt him pretty bad, gave him physical problems for some time after.

The problem is mental with him, he isn't blessed with the natural belief of a Fury type and so when he took his losses his aggressive style was hard to return to. But who knows how Wilder will come back from his fall (though I think he'll probably be okay against non-Fury opponents because it's hard to have demons when you don't have a mind).

If Price fought Wilder now, a slightly more gunshy Wilder, and came in with nothing to lose like he did versus Povetkin, why is it so outrageous he could hang in there long enough with his skills to land a bomb or two? Even in the Chisora loss he landed a big upper. He hurt Povektin, he hurt Hammer. The guy has proven he can land on experiences/skilled fighters, so it's not out of the question he can land on Wilder, especially with his size and range. But this fight has such a nasty downside, the high probability of Wilder gyrating around over Price's dead body, that I hope they don't ever do it.

I love these threads. Every 3 months. Remember everyone, he just needs that one punch and he’s back in the mix!!!!

who knows, he’s probably get absolutely smashed but I’d watch it!

I agree that I think a tune up may not be a bad idea and if Wilder looks good in it, it would build interest.
Remember Fury looked a good winner the first time against Wilder and a big ko over Breazeale and interest seemed high again

With Price I am not sure if it would be a good move.
I don't think Price has been the same since his first loss and not seemed as committed imo to throwing punches whilst coming forward where his power was

Christ someone wants Price to die!

Wilder absolutely destoys him at any point
Price would fall to pieces once he saw those windmills incoming and boom game over

Price didnt gas againt Allen because
1.He didn't really have to spend much energy (watch him walking back to his corner, he was still puffing even then)
    2.Allen is pretty dire

The stress of having to fight Wilder would be too much for Price

It's good if you hate Price's brain cells and future quality of life, I guess

Yeah this is that kind of fight. Two glass jawed punchers going at it. Great matchup.

After beating Allen Price had the mindset of the opportunities that gave him toward getting a nice cash-out fight. That much was evident in the Chisora joke. As soon as Chisora stepped into second gear Price / his corner folded straight away.

Wilder may have been exposed somewhat in the Fury fight but no need to underestimate him so much into thinking Price would do anything other than get ironed out fast!
