So no more "Wilder is in talks with Ray Mercer" type threads?

    Shame

Was Stiverne not a top 10 guy?

Duhaupas has no business getting a title shot, guy is not even Euro level. If you use Charr as a measuring stick, then the fighter can't be that great.

You do realize that Thompson is susceptible to the OH R don't you.
And he's not the great greatest at cutting off the ring.
Take into account that he's getting older each day.
This ain't the guy who fought Wlad.
Thompson would still be an improvement over Molina, but Duhaupas is no worse than 44 you Thompson

Wow, Wilder is stepping up. From the worst top 15 WBC "contender", to the second worst. Fujimoto wasn't available or what?

Duhaupas is not a top-25 heavyweight, but he does stand a better chance than Molina, who was almost able to knock Wilder out cleanly :D

#34 ranked on Boxrec, this guy has nothing to search in a title fight, but neither does Wilder.

He did have some credible wins.

And yeah, he's not much to look at off the front foot, but let's see how he does vs Ortiz before we write him off completely.

looks another can to me, decent hands and okay skills, probably awkward to fight, but one good shot and he's going to be on ***** street. Teper must have been holding him up for a wager.

Ofcourse not, but I'm surprised he didn't pick the worst top-15 contender this time (Fujimoto) in stead of the second worst.

Just rewatching the Teper fight, Duhaupas did show a good chin here and a solid defense. We know how questionable Wilder's chin is so I have to give Duhaupas a chance of the upset.

Hard to give a guy credit when he his best performances have been lackluster. Arreola I is where he's shined the most. Even in the rematch he was being OUTBOXED by Arreola of all people, of course he was outboxed completely by a shot 40+ year old Ray Austin 2011, before rallying and scoring the KO. Stiverne is ok, solid counter puncher with some pop and a decent beard, but take that power away and he's not any better than Kingpin.
