Uh, I am sure Teper would have taken the shot. Povetkin certainly would have.

Wilder was looking for the worst oppent the WBC would sanction and he found him. They just coulnd't find anyone quite as bad as Molina.

And I'll tell you what, if Duhapas can survive Teper's punch, he has a chancce at this. I'll take the "upset" in this one.

Chrst you are getting all hard over a guy who was beaten by Pianeta.

Respectable opponent. As you said, he's a live underdog, although I expect Wilder will get the ko.

Fujimoto would have been embarrassingly bad, much worse than Molina. Duhaupas is a step up, not at the Povetkin level obviously, but a legit title defense, a fringe contender hovering in or around the top 20

So, as soon as he lost to Wilder he was no longer legit? Jeez, you sound like the Klitschko haters. Stiverne was clearly a top 5 HW at the time of his loss.

Your posts usually make more sense when they aren't going on about Wilder, you really seem to have a blinding hatred for him.

I was sure Wilder would lose to Stiverne, seemed all wrong for him. I bought Wilder having a weak chin, and Stiverne clearly is one of the hardest hitters among the top hw's, and has an iron chin. But Wilder won that on points, proving he's not just a power guy, and took enough shots to show that his chin is at least not bad, if not good. If Wilder beats Duhaupas he'll have beaten a top 5 HW, two other top 20 HW's (Duhaupas and Scott) and a bunch of other good journeymen. I think he'll get crushed by Wlad and would lose to Povetkin, but apart from that he's got as good a resume as anyone in the top 10 and I would probably pick him to beat anyone else in the top 10, except I'd have him and Fury at 50/50, and give Takam and Jennings about a 40% chance.

People need to stop giving Wilder the "Klitschko" treatment and pretending that each opponent he beats is no longer good as soon as he beats him. I was a Wilder skeptic, and still don't think he's a world beater, but I can at least acknowledge he's a lot better than I thought he'd be.

Good skills, decent chin, awkward style but limited power. He is a live underdog, could surprise Wilder for a couple of rounds but I wouldn't expect an upset.

Wilder deserves all the hate he gets, although Stiverne was a good win for him it's his only one.

That said his general level of opposition (Yes I mean before he fights them) is pitiful, his last 5 fights for a WBC champion is probably the worst in boxing. 3 fights ago he fought Jason Gavern a guy with 10 KO losses and 20 losses in total.

The guy is hiding a Glass Jaw, his handlers will continue to protect him and pad his resume until they decide to cash out on him against Wlad or Povetkin. Wilder isn't a champion to be taken seriously.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Molina and Duhaupas are worse than Dokes and Ferguson who Bowe fought for his first 2 defenses. This is a joke. Why is Wilder fighting bums still?

Actually, what's the source for this. Not seeing it anywhere else? May have to walk back some of my defense for Wilder.

Francesco Pitaneta, who is widely considered one of Klitschko's weakest opponents, defeated Duhaupas and took his 0.

Anyway, Duhaupas is certainly a much better opponent than Molina.

No he sucks because he was being SCHOOLED in 2011 by a shot Ray Austin, was behind on the cards and being outboxed by Arreola in their fight too, not to mention the loss King(questionable stoppage sure, but Stiverne wasn't looking too hot that night). Stiverne just isn't that great, there's nothing to suggest he was ever a top 10 HW. Some of us may have picked him to beat, and expose Wilder but that doesn't mean he was a world beater. Fact is he never would have become world champ if Vitali had never dropped is belt, and if the WBC wasn't so hellbent on having a Mexican as HW champ even though he was completely unworthy. Stiverne beat Arreola to become WBC mandatory, so convincingly that there was absolutely zero need for a rematch. But of course the WBC continuing with their notorious favoritism for Mexican fighters decided to give Arreola a shot at the vacant title, and a rematch with Stiverne even though he did absolutely nothing to earn it. So yeah... ****yze Stiverne a little closer like I did and explain to me why he was so great, because I just don't see it. Never proved he was anywhere near being a top 10n HW.

Molina was suck a weak defence to begin with, imagine Wlad fighting Molina and Jason Gavern in his next 3 fights :rofl

Wilder's level of opposition is a joke, he's the WBC champion ffs, start acting like one.
