Only time I've seen him is when he drew with Pianeta, the guy that just got annihilated in a round by Chagaev.

On recent history Duhaupas looks like a decent measuring stick for Wilder.
I'm not going to dog him here.
He went the distance in a fairly close fight with Teper, and Beat Charr by decision.
No he's a not a world beater, but about as good of an opponent as I could have expected the PBC boys to put Wilder in with as a "tune up fight" for Povetkin.
Not a terribly good style wise preparation for Povetkin however.
Povetkin getting Wach is smarter for preparation.
I just don't think Wilder's handlers are terribly confident. Glazkov would have been the best style match up to prepare Wilder.
Glazkov was probably seen as too great a risk.

Im shocked Wilder even chose a European. How is this going to sell in the US? Nobody knows this guy even in Europe, let alone the States!?

    That's why it's in B'ham.

And how many "knew" Molina, except for his high school students.

Very good points. His team seems to realize that he's still in need of a lot of refinement. But they should have been able to put him in against a guy like Glazkov, especially when considering the Malik Scott robbery (and Wilder's "alleged KO1" over Scott).

Damn Wilder is still taking easy fights. Should be a easy win for Wilder but Wilder looked like **** in his last fight. I think Wilder reminds me a lot of Michael Grant and I don't think his chin is any better than Grants. My guess is Povetkin will KO Wilder early if they ever fight.

This isn't even confirmed yet. Wilders team are dragging these negotiations for as long as possible, and will pick the worse/and least prepared opponent that they possible can. 4 weeks or so away from the fight and still no opponent has been announced... This is a world title fight not some tune up, what a farce!

Not only s****ing the bottom for an opponent, but also deliberately squeezing the opponent's camp in terms of prep time.

Kool... Maybe they will approach Butterbean at the Buffet when
he's eating a BBQ'd Hog with FatBoy Nichols with a contract for
the Wilder fight on one weeks notice!!

Butterbean 10 years and 200 pounds ago would KO Wilder!!

    hehehe...
